Thank you for your honesty this terrorists group of M23 is supported by a evil man (Paul Kagame) now it is time to wake up from this manipulation from that evil system, 30 years is too much now it is time for peace and stability for the entire region and that can be done by dismantling this evil system from Rwanda because we used to live in peace and harmony before Kagame's chaotic system. It is very sad to see that millions of people are suffering just because of one man

@magaju-k1v March 11, 2025 - 4:07 pm

So we're just not gonna mention that eastern Congo was in fact Rwandan territory that got taken away by the colonialists? Eastern Congo at the time became personal mining grounds for the King of Belgium and that exploitation culture never stopped. So are these westerners concerned because they care about the Congolese people or because they can't fill their pockets anymore?

@mervynpeters March 11, 2025 - 4:07 pm

@erictevoedjre3966 March 11, 2025 - 4:07 pm

@11:04 It would be useful to explain that the EU signed a deal with Rwanda for the supply of minerals that Rwanda does not produce. These minerals can be found in the DRC and the EU knows it.

@Justsee-250 March 11, 2025 - 4:07 pm

The role of Europe and US in Congo' s vulnersbility , the role of colonialism in Africa' s tragedy You cannot Hide. THE TRUE ENIMIE OF AFRICANS AND SOUTH AND CENTRAL ANERICANS & ASIANS SHould be colonial powers which exploit us not our own selves, each other.

@and1146 March 11, 2025 - 4:07 pm

A people who suffered genocide who became genociders🤔Where have I seen this before?

@FiyahBassMusic March 11, 2025 - 4:07 pm

Neoimperialism uses chaos to exploit resources and avoid regulation, halfway in and no mention of this, limited perspective journalism

@BlackSeedOil20 March 11, 2025 - 4:07 pm

Wow! This is madness if the Tutsi minority thinks they can go after the majority in Congo. Kagame is probably being used by foreigners. They should learn from Assad's fall in Syria and Alaouite minority. The Alaouite backed the Assad family strong hold and now are seen as traitors. But it looks like things are more complex here. It seems like M23 is not all Tutsi.

@zerem1726 March 11, 2025 - 4:07 pm

Humanity in a nutshell. Violence,greed and thirst for power. We have not evolved as a species. I believe that most humans are kind and loving but then you hear this story and sets you back.

@falconiro_ March 11, 2025 - 4:07 pm

See that small country that they're saying is taking over Congo , mention the people who speaks kinyarwanda is in all four countries that is around rwandan but congo is the first to say that they're rwandans instead of accept the Berlin conference border drawing

these westerners really think they cooked

@manzijacob9873 March 11, 2025 - 4:07 pm

Hey Aljazeera , Let’s be clear the 1994 Rwandan Genocide was a targeted massacre against the Tutsi. Extremist Hutus killed up to 1 million Tutsis in just 100 days. This was a genocide, not a general conflict. The world must remember the truth and honor those lost lives

@ArthurB26 March 11, 2025 - 4:07 pm

I finally took the time to learn about the genocide a few weeks ago and now conflict is the only world news I care about. I don't understand why anyone could not be pro-Kagame, great leader and I support his mission 100%. Never again.

"But why are they taking the resources?" I don't know, I don't care. Call it reparations Congo's bad leadership.

@KRISHNA175 March 11, 2025 - 4:07 pm

Any smart people can tell, that white people provide all the ammunition, so local tribe kill each other and the white could loot all the natural mineral from their land.

@gustavalexander8676 March 11, 2025 - 4:07 pm

I have a feel that a lot of people from Rwanda go to comment sections to defend Kagames invasion. We can argue about number of tutsi deaths in the genocide all day long. I accept the 1 million figure – but show me repression of tutsi in Congo. Thats what you need to justify this anything else is just trying to ignore the real issue. Rwanda is illegally occupying a country and exporting its natural resources.

@Isatitou March 11, 2025 - 4:07 pm

This documentary feels more like a justification for the continued presence of UN missions than an objective report. It conveniently omits key facts, like why over a million people were already living in camps before M23 took control? What were they running from? If M23 urged them to return home, was the alternative to remain dependent on foreign aid forever? The documentary also ignores the role of the FDLR (Among others), a group responsible for well-documented atrocities, while disproportionately focusing on M23 members who were sentenced. UNICEF’s claims of “unprecedented” violence lack independent verification, yet they are reported as fact. Meanwhile, groups like ADF, which recently committed horrific crimes LIVE ON CAMERA, don't get a mention. Why? The selective reporting and omissions raise serious questions about the integrity of this piece. If the goal is to inform, why not tell the whole story?

@InésDarwine March 11, 2025 - 4:07 pm

All those accusations from Congo and all the world to Rwanda are nonsense, Congo kills its own people and shifts it to Rwanda, and those other countries siding with it are ignoring the truth, They are just scared to lose minerals from DRC and they choose to turn blind instead of helping to restore peace. They keep talking about punishments to Rwanda bra bra bra. They are the reason for all this. Rwanda has peace so those accusations are nonsense. In fact, those places under M23 now are praising and dancing for how safe they are now. So, please let's promote peace instead of greed 🙏🏽

Just that there’s “guidelines” for this comment section says everything I need to say. Woman did a terrible job reading the teleprompter jeez

@inhimilivemovehavemybeing March 11, 2025 - 4:07 pm

Congo must acknowledge M23 Mama Tschisekedi is the one who doesnt want his son to do the right thing since her and Tschisekedi father party who tell him ro resist because they are the one who made him president otherwise is the old woman Mama Tschisekedi who rule over Felix Tschisekedi and has hatred for M23 and advice his son not to cooperate. Mama Tschisekedi is among those old leaders who are not flexible who think they can let the whole country perish for lack of sense and flexibility and Tschisekedi is powerless towards his mother and his late father party. What Tschisekedi.did after her made said that he should kill people who speak swahili in Congo you saw what happened he killed civilians when M23 do whatever it takes to preserve lives for military even mercenaries mostly for his brothers Congolese after Mama Tschisekedi advice Felix president killed civilian and he plans to kill more those are old politics for hated Tschisekedi should step down now right now before he and his mother causes more damages. Or let him acknowledge the disciplined and strong and professional army M23 when Techisekedi is in coalition with genocidaires FDLR. Tschisekedi negotiate cooperate leave alone your mother old hatred selfish ambition because she long wanted to be first lady and she want to realize all her hateful old selfish ambition in his son. Stop to that Congolese are not that stupid and they shouldn't perish because of Tschisekedo family selfish and hateful ambitions in Jesus name hallelujah Amen

@Grid-Mantra March 11, 2025 - 4:07 pm

Conflict explained but where is pain explained ? What will I do if I know about the conflict, when innocent people are already dead.

@asetelini March 11, 2025 - 4:07 pm

This video is suprisingly quiet about Tanzania's role in quelling M23 the first time. Clear the state of affairs is acceptable to everyone who isn't a civilian in the region.

@KhombaSabu March 11, 2025 - 4:07 pm

THE 1994 STORY NEEDS TO BE REVIEWED AGAIN, IF THE HUTU PEOPLES KILLED MORE THAN 800.000 TUTSI THEN THE HUTU PEOPLES DIDN'T HAVE ANY REASON TO RUN FROM RWAND TO SEEK REFUGE IN THE DRC, THE TRUTH IS THAT KAGAME FEARS THAT THE WORLD MIGHT FIND OUT THAT THE GENOCIDE WAS IN FACT COMMITED BY THE TUTSI PEOPLES AGAINST THE HUTU PEOPLES.

@norbertudentajr23 March 11, 2025 - 4:07 pm

Europeans are the problem not Rwanda

@ibyegeranyorwanda9852 March 11, 2025 - 4:07 pm

Never trust a western Media. Why they didn't maintain a failure of UN peacekeeping missions in DRC?! What are they doing there for 28 years?! Why did ambassador of Italy in DRC was shooted by Militia group in forest of DRC while he was going to smuggle minerals in DRC. Western they will never allow Africa to live in Peace. Africans problems need Africans solutions.

@darkangel2347 March 11, 2025 - 4:07 pm

One of the major reasons for this conflict is all the mineral riches. If you’re watching this video with a device with Cobalt powered re-chargeable batteries, you’re possibly involved by default.

@urimbotjekuue March 11, 2025 - 4:07 pm

If the West is against you. Maybe you're not in the wrong. Don't hate me please I'm not for War i love my brothers and sisters and believe that soon we'll get real Independence🙏🏽

@urimbotjekuue March 11, 2025 - 4:07 pm

All i want is for the West to stay out of African conflicts and politics

@yg4hunnid259 March 11, 2025 - 4:07 pm

It’s crazy to see you guys coming on here and keep playing over and over and also I just wanna let you know Rwanda is never barking m23 but I did none of you say how government of Congo been killing people for no reason over and over

@tomkelly8827 March 11, 2025 - 4:07 pm

From the comment section here, I get the feeling that there is more to this story. We can see in Israel that one genocide can lead to the next. We need to find a way to end the vicious cycle.
