But I saw the girl they were to pay 800,000, her baby was already 3 months old, who are they going to convince that that baby is a newborn? Cause she was still hopeful her baby will be sold (which I do not support by the way).

@eniolaosi March 12, 2025 - 1:29 pm

this is literally so insane

@chanjo1301 March 12, 2025 - 1:29 pm

I watched another documentary as well about women selling their babies on the black market- and the whole driver behind black market selling of babies is people who yearn to be parents.. I seriously doubt that this is the case….It leads me to think that these babies are used for other purposes – occultism and child trafficking

I've prayed for forgiveness, about my last pregnancy…

@D.von.N March 12, 2025 - 1:29 pm

The ambassador mentioned it: are you uneducated? Or something of this sort.
They need more education and less religious brainwashing and beliefs in miracles. Come on, it is the 21st century.
Besides, what is wrong on adoption from the religious point of view? It is a very honouring thing to provide for an abandoned child. Why insisting that only your own genes matter?

@Unoduetrequattro340 March 12, 2025 - 1:29 pm

My sister fell victim and almost lost her life. She went from 75kg to 105kg with fake pregnancy after many of childlessness. It took God, hard work, constant medications and physical exercise before we came back to normal. Today, she is living in the US with her husband still fighting to conceive. The God that gives children will not forget my sister. She will conceive and give birth naturally amen.

I urge every woman believing God for a child to have faith, you will conceive and birth to healthy children.

@mercibiney37 March 12, 2025 - 1:29 pm

Ironically despite what was said in this documentary in regard to abortion being rare & frowned upon unless under detrimental conditions. Modern day Nigeria Men of all ages can be seen requesting & insisting pregnant young Women get an abortion when unplanned pregnancy becomes serious life-changing matter/issue on various popular Nigerian content creator's pages. 🙆🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️🙆🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

@TradesbyNao March 12, 2025 - 1:29 pm

Are some African people's brains okay? How can someone tell you, you are pregnant and its in the back 😢. Like WTF. This is why the whites were able to enslave and conquer Africans. Tufiakwa.

@munchkette March 12, 2025 - 1:29 pm

I wish they'd tested whatever was in that stuff they gave the woman to make her "conceive".

@annie_xo March 12, 2025 - 1:29 pm

Education can solve this problem. So much of the things that ”doctor” are describing is simply physically impossible. Educate people on how the human body works and stop putting pressure on women to conceive, and this issue will go away.

@donnaibe March 12, 2025 - 1:29 pm

So in the end, the Dr Ruth wasn't arrested? What's the point then?

@kellylestig4941 March 12, 2025 - 1:29 pm

Why are you showing the real people who went through this but using actors voice instead makes me think this video is fake

@ZinoGoment March 12, 2025 - 1:29 pm

Not me shouting Jesus wen the narrator said ‘’ but somewhere, there’s a baby being bought and sold’’ 😮 Things r really happening in this our Nigeria😢 really sad

All the Nigerian Scammers are going to have super bad karma, bad health, bad crash, bad cancer, all the good people's toxics and pain are all sending over to Nigerian Scammers. By the time Nigerian Scammers feel the pain physically, emotionally and mentally, they know it's all because of whatever they had done, God, Universe, Angels are all watching, there's Divine Justice. If Nigerian Scammers want to be as disgusting as cockroaches, go ahead and go get the well-deserved karma! And all the victims with good heart and soul are going to be able to get back justice and good fulfilling life with good health and abundance (thank you divines for watching)!

@catherinenwakuba8093 March 12, 2025 - 1:29 pm

The reason why is adviseable to do Pertarnity and Maternity DNA. In Nigeria is just Perternity DNA they do and this so called Cryptic hospital has been existing since in the East, you will be surprised they have backing.

@selektalainegravity2886 March 12, 2025 - 1:29 pm

Knowledge is power

@naarwhals March 12, 2025 - 1:29 pm

I hated the topic but great report. BBC documentaries are so high quality and indepth.

@alawodemaryam1651 March 12, 2025 - 1:29 pm

It's shocking that some individuals would rather spend millions on illicit means to obtain a child than adopt through legitimate channels. Moreover, the way they treat women in this situation is appalling. Women are often blamed, shamed, and made to feel inadequate, as if they're the sole obstacle to childbirth. The burden of responsibility is unfairly placed on them, ignoring the equal role of their partner.

@Sensored-Truth March 12, 2025 - 1:29 pm

All evil in the East always this state

@mybeautifuldarling March 12, 2025 - 1:29 pm

This is absolutely wild.

@venicegirl80 March 12, 2025 - 1:29 pm

Ignorance don't have limit

@Malibustacy1982 March 12, 2025 - 1:29 pm

It's so ironic to me how Nigerians are known for being scammers, and they even scam themselves. It's a wonder anyone out there trusts anyone from Nigeria and the surrounding areas. Lagos seems to have the largest number of online scammers compared to anywhere else. Such a shame. Those in the area that truly need help will never get it. It's because the scammers there have done everything they can to line their own pockets yet forget about those who truly need the money to survive. How sad. They're destroying their own country. For selfish greed.

@Bananachan289 March 12, 2025 - 1:29 pm

17:37 so horrific those poor girls

@namszaza3697 March 12, 2025 - 1:29 pm

What happened to the clinic? I hope they are all locked up in jail for life. This is a crime!

@bleachedbrownsugarbabe3673 March 12, 2025 - 1:29 pm

Not everyone wants to be a mother this is such a toxic patriarchal part of our culture omg

@Sashazur March 12, 2025 - 1:29 pm

This whole “cryptic pregnancy” scam thing is either willful denial or incredible ignorance – or likely a combination. Either way it’s awful and sad and looks so bad for Nigeria.

@raissa9007 March 12, 2025 - 1:29 pm

They tell women they can carry the baby for a 1 year and 5 months??? Only an illiterate will be believe that nonsense. No wonder they are doing this business in the village cause there’s no way a Lagos woman will believe that.

@moiraatkinson March 12, 2025 - 1:29 pm

I find it incredible that there are women who actually believe this rubbish! There should be more education for women and it’s time the stigma against infertility, adoption etc was dropped. Adoption might be the answer for some of these young girls who find themselves pregnant and alone, who know what they’ll be up against in this culture, but it should be a choice. Nobody should be getting rich off the back of it or tricked into believing in this crypto pregnancy stuff. The only good outcome is that it’s likely the child will be much loved and treasured.
