Unforgiven masterpiece
Gene as Lex Luthor in Superman was my first exposure to the amazing actor. I was just a kid at the time, but I remember being awed by how effortlessly he played the consummate villain, charming but menacing. It wasn't until watching him in BAT 21 years later that I realized he was one of my favorite actors.

I very much hope that Mr. Gene Hackmann knew (or somehow sees it now from above) how very much admired the was by the people. No bad words, only deep grief and sadness and everybody starting to watch his movies again and again.
Under Suspicion is a masterpiece of a movie…if you understand it.

I remember many years ago, I was really sad when he announced his retirement from acting. He left such a legacy. What a legend. He’ll always be missed. Anyway, I thought Dustin Hoffman should have said the eulogy.
