God Be With Those Affected by this horrific weather. So very devastating, so very heart breaking, so very defeating, such a painful ending for so many people, too. It's April 2025 when i am typing this, and many are still recovering from this life changing event. My prayers continue for all involved —- mental damage, physical damage, emotional damage that will be better with time, but will never totally heal. Sending the Pink Light of Love, the White Light of the Angels.

WHERE IS DONALD TRUMP & THE CONservatives? They talked so much crap towards the democrats so WHERE is that same energy for TRUMP and his cronies?

We were 3,800 ft elevation 1 mile North of Burnsville town square. Being from Florida we were aware of what happens at or near sea level. Not worried, so we decided to ride it out. The evening it hit we saw trees flying in circles below our house. One tree hit one of our porches but had no structural damage to the living portion of the house. We were the lucky ones on our mountain road. From our driveway to the bottom of our road the entire road and hillsides were covered with huge downed trees. No power, no cell, no water, trapped for six days.
The life lesson I learned was the folks living in the small mountain town are the kindest, most resourceful, most sharing people anywhere. Everyone on Mica Springs Road are angels in my opinion. I will be in their debt for the rest of life.

I experienced Helene here in Anderson SC . I hate what you in Hendersonville and Asheville went through. I pray you will kick out the gangs that will want to destroy you. Keep your familiar strong!!!

I lived in Candler, NC which is just west of Asheville on I-40. Asheville was my favorite place to live but after several years I moved to Raleigh due to work and then to Tampa, FL because I got married and then on to the east coast where I grew up. We only got tropical storm Helene and Debby but we got Hurricane Milton pretty bad due to flooding like we got with Hurricane Ian 2022 and that was over 2 feet of rain but we don’t have mountains or hills here like we did in Asheville. Seeing the pictures and videos of Asheville made my heart sink. I have friends that live in the mountains and some lost almost everything and have to rebuild their lives. Everyone is ok. I would love to move back there one day. Seeing the leaves change color in the Fall and the fog cover the mountains is amazing. The waterfalls, hiking, whitewater rafting is amazing. Seeing the snow in the winter I loved too. My prayers continue to those who lost loved ones, friends, and their homes to this awful storm!

It's a shame how FEMA treated the victims of that hurricane because they didn't like their political views.

This is a really well documentary. Watching from Los Angeles. We get floods but not this bad but we just had the fires so I understand. Stay strong. Western NC is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been
