As I’ve watched my family have children get married I’ve really seen the biggest indicator of it going well is it not just being planned but then being financially ready which obviously sounds unfair to people that it’s not planned and they’re not ready of course that really sucks but whenever you’ve really planned it out and you have all the finances planned out taking away that stressis so life-changing for the parents just from what I’ve seen obviously, there are many other factors for everything

I think the point about the vegan youtuber brought up about why people see those protests as so extreme is pretty too, that people don't understand what vegan means. I think it comes down to what you talked about too before, that people (and you too before) understood vegan solely as dietary, when it's mostly philosophical too and the diet follows.

I think that's why people feel attacked, because it's like: 'Why are you critiquing the way I eat? (Eating is already a struggle/ my only safety and escape)', when Vegans are actually critiquing the way we view animals/ other sentient beings.

But yes, if religious and spiritual people, who preach love and empathy all day can be right-wing extremists, so can vegans and there are a few of them out there. I mean that always seemed weird/ hypocritical to me a lot (but I'm probably also autistic lol).

There was this one vegan guy here in Germany, that made vegan really popular in the 2010s (my mom has all his cookbooks) and years later he has come out as rightwing (still vegan) nutcase who has been completely sucked into conspiracy theories. So it goes.

Edit: I mean as far as I know, Hitler was vegetarian and loved animals, specifically dogs 💀
