MonoNeon watch out.
Ah, I was hoping for the dual sax solo, how will I bear the disappointment?
First one which I like 🙂
Funky, funky! How about something more relaxed, if more bluesy, like the "American Tune" by Simon and Garfunkel? It contains the really old-style bass-line (kinda contrapoint or so, I guess, whereof J.S. Bach was a master, as shown in his cello-suites, which also sound very nice as guitar-adaptations) of an old Luther-hymn; and it spans several centuries of mood-music-history, from the Palas of the Wartburg to the Eagle on the Moon, S&G at their best, if I may say so.
That's some good playing there Brad..respect…
Now that's a zen living space…
Joe Jack Talcum-esque, very cool!
Awesome! I appreciate the bonus video. Good bass playin’! I also needed a good chuckle.
Awesome Brad … rock it! =)
Nice one, Brad. Love that song. You killed it, dude.
Love your intros, when are you getting the band back together?
Keep on keeping on, you maybe the only Zen in town.
A great song by one of the best front men of pop/rock. I was lucky enough to be dragged along as a kid to see Ian Dury live. Fantastique!
Nice Godzilla statues!
I've never heard this song before, so your rendition is now the official one. When I listened to the lyrics, my first thought was an image of a Zen Master walking around a zendo hitting his students with a "rhythm stick" while they were practicing zazen, and I thought that would be the connection with today's topic.
Thank you for sharing!
