Let's not forget that Joe had to fight for his chair that he earned by being an alcoholic. Because of the racism in the south, he was not allowed to sit with the group and nobody would sponsor him at first.
He went on to be one of the most valuable and influential members of AA to grace the rooms.
Joe McQ continues to help countless others by his bbca recordings. He is proof that if we want out of the alcoholic life bad enough, there is a way.
