Moving rocchio to the 2 hole completely negates Jose at 3. He’s gonna hit into tons of double plays and take Jose out of the picture. Kyle schwarber leads off for every team he plays for. Jose absolutely should be in the two hole unless he really hates being there

Regarding Jose hitting #2, the rationale behind that is there's data out there showing that the #2 spot sees more RBI opportunities later in games than the #3 spot. If that's true, then it makes sense to have your best hitter hit #2 and probably your 2nd best hitter hit #3.

Explain why every good team puts there best hitter in the 2 hole? This guys living in the past

If this version of Carlos Santana is the same as the old one. He fits in the 2 slot, Ramirez, 3, Manzardo 4, Thomas 5.

Trevor Bauer recommended a pitcher on his off days should go harder than game day. When game day is the easy day, it gives the manager more flexibility.

JAY< Why the hell would you want Bryan Rocchio, a .200 AVG hitter, in the two spot in the lineup? PLEASE! You are a smarter baseball guy than that. That may be your worst baseball take ever!

They go by pitch count these days. All these fouling off pitches because they all throw mid to upper nineties keeps most pitchers from getting in 5 or more innings

They traded away Camminero. So having Manzardo do good softens the blow

Jay!!! Pitchers today have much higher spin rates, much higher velocities. There is no fair comparison between pitchers in the 70's and today for those two reasons . You know better quit the BS!

Jay loves to derail the show with moronic baseball takes
