These families and lawyers are amazing. I think about the males in my family and if this type of injustice ever happened to them. It would be generationally devastating. Nothing can replace having your father while growing up, but I am so happy their children had family around them to take care of them.
The denial of the DNA evidence for so many years is disturbing. They took a witness ID over DNA evidence? Not once, but several times. It is such backwards thinking it is beyond me. Those in power definitely “need to get back to good ethics.”

I feel so mad whenever I watch an episode like this. Those detectives, prosecutors, they never admit that they messed up! Their ego can feed the entire world with a bit more left!
The judicial system is a joke! No wonder you can't have DP in case the prosecutors are in the mood of putting the innocents in prison AGAIN!
It's mind boggling how active or retired officer's still believes that the person is guilty when all the evidence in the world proving there innocents. Thats one reason i know that they are corrupt and straight up evil

Such an outrage and this is still happening today. Many innocent people are still suffering, still in jail for crimes they did not commit. Why take so long to undo what they did in a split second. 25 years insane. Heartbreaking and tragic.😢😢😢
This has happened to blacks for years , the whites want a conviction, they HAVE to prosecute someone when the victim is white, the pressure is on them from the state, the family so instead of them doing the actual criminal investigation they start hunting for scapegoats & every black man is disposable. What’s said is many of them got life sentences and end up dying in prison without ever being vindicated

I really was not expecting that detective with the same haircut I gave myself when I was six and got my hands on scissors to still be so steadfast that he was right after all the evidence.
It was stupid of me to ever have even 1% faith in him, I mean…just look at the guy.
I can tell you exactly what that man says and thinks in his home….hint, he said he hasn't for 20 years.
To give this atrocity even more perspective: The man in his 30s who raped me repeatedly from ages 15-18, never even denied it, got SIX MONTHS.
Guess what the main difference was!!

I always pray for myself and son because something like this could happen. I’ve never been in trouble and my son is only 6. I enjoy life but I’m very aware of my surroundings and stay to myself

This is the saddest most moving story I’ve heard on 48 hrs. What the Law has done to these men is unjust. That investigator should be put behind bars this was a racial motivated conviction for sure. I’m glad no gave up on them.
That detective with that BAD hair cut should be ASHAMED of himself. All of this was INTENTIONALLY. They allowed the REAL criminals to go free. I couldn't EVEN imagine. My mind can't even imagine such a scenario. Wow!!! 25 YEARS! Phew! 😭😭😭
