Hey, thanks for watching. There's a ton more to this story we had to leave out, even in a video this long: Flint! Bernie! The 2022 GOP primary! But out of all the hours of local Michigan news I watched for this, the one clip I was saddest to cut from the video was this one, about the Macomb County Republican Party. It's a real doozy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sk4QRgzN7yg

Anyway, happy 2024. Election coming up, are you excited? For the election? Between the same two extremely old men from four years ago? Obviously we are. Still, we want to know what you think we should cover before then. What would help you understand this moment in US politics better? Let us know in the comments below. And thanks again for watching.

You know, when you really appeal to your voters that you want to appeal to when Trump says that most of the Detroit has no jabs. That's how you pull voters away from you.

As a Michiganer I’m proud that our state turn Red

@Angel_Yuki-chan February 15, 2025 - 11:44 pm

When Michigan needs to be red, I will make it red. When Michigan needs to be blue, I will make it blue.

Seeing this after the 2024 election and seeing that Michigan continued to vote CLOSEST to the popular vote out of any of the other states again. Not only did it vote the closest, but it literally had the EXACT SAME POPULAR VOTE PERCENTAGE as the United States as a whole. Pretty wild. I guess we will see in 2028 if Michigan continues this trend of being closest to the overall popular vote.

The narcissistic, spoiled and entitled females who support killing babies are changing how men in America view females overall. Men used to respect females and now don't even want to help them. These females will end up old and alone and men will begin working to ensure that tax dollars are not used to support these females. It will be a sad ending for these females.

The only way that dems win the Midwest is through ballot-stuffing and ballot-harvesting. Voters need to band together to make it too big to rig and eliminate the rigged "non-partisan" redistricting board and require in-person voting with valid ID. If the residents of Michigan want to save their state from the impending tax bomb then they need to reverse the disastrous policies of wretched Whitmer and her ilk.

2024 – TRUMP TAKES MICHIGAN

@mercurial3252 February 15, 2025 - 11:44 pm

THANK YOU MICHIGAN! RED WAVE HAPPENED IN 2024

@wqhv February 15, 2025 - 11:44 pm

Now it's the red wall 🧱

@ClassicJukeboxBand February 15, 2025 - 11:44 pm

It's easy to flip a state when you shut down voting for no apparent reason, and ship in hundreds of thousands of votes…Trump would have won easily if it was not for Biden's vote rigging…

@liamknight2662 February 15, 2025 - 11:44 pm

the 2022 blue wave was largely based around the fear of Trump 'banning abortion'. Turned out states did exactly what he said they should do and come up with their own legislation. and by the 2024 election the fear campaign around it was largely dead in the water

@numbr17 February 15, 2025 - 11:44 pm

Lol. This did not age well! The ENTIRE COUNTRY is shifting right now, partially thanks for the ridiculous gas lighting from the likes of Vox. The people are done with this garbage.

@sophisticate80486 February 15, 2025 - 11:44 pm

2024 red, more than 2016.
but president & senate swing, there was no over 50% candidate.

@garudain77 February 15, 2025 - 11:44 pm

I cannot fathom how in the hail Michiganders re-elected that governor who had been so tyrannical during Covid. Do they ENJOY having a boot on their neck?

@elicopter_go_brr February 15, 2025 - 11:44 pm

trump won every single swing state, his victory was crushing

@HanT-04 February 15, 2025 - 11:44 pm

Watching this after the 2024 election – Donald Trump won it again!

@mariolis February 15, 2025 - 11:44 pm

To all the people that call this video innacurate because Trump won the state in 2024… did we even watch the same video?

The video is about how the shifts in Michigan closely reflect the country, so when Democrats did well nation-wide in 2020 and 2022, they did so too in Michigan

Trump won the electoral college AND popular vote in 2024, so it is not a surprise that he also won Michigan …

If you want your answer. We are tired of hearing about 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️. We care about the economy and that’s it.
