Why is Trump doing rallies?

@sparli.n March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

I’m loving the ongoing studio reconfiguration b-plot. It’s a journey for us all 😆

@davidahighley3694 March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

I get it, but since I’ve been retired I don’t have the time to watch, only listen.

@wolverinethad March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

I mean, if I was Harry, I'd go back home, apologize profusely, and get his family back in their protective embrace. That can't be worse than living here these days. I doubt he even has a green card.

@janinecooper8398 March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

Caught Nish chuckling at not making a joke about “another slash”

@chibbyranjo March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

The thing is, the cuts to disability benefits portrays people receiving them as lacking a sense of fair play. That somehow it is undeserved. This is especially galling in the climate of the widening wealth gap, and the real sense that the rich do not pay their way. It’s easier to take from the needy than to pursue the wealthy for what they actually owe, and that offends British sensibilities at the very least. It’s why people were so animated about changes to the winter fuel payments. “You’re forcing old people to freeze” is horrendously emotive. And yet, somehow, it is acceptable to take from disabled people, but unacceptable for a wealthy person to own fewer assets when they already have more than they need.

It doesn’t matter how wealthy they are, they represent a small percentage of the population. They will be fine. The benefits to wider society by taxing them properly would impact the lives of far more than that measly (miserly) 1%.

Yay! Nish! I’m Belgian and I love him so much. He’s hilarious. I used to watch the Mash Report for him and Rachel Parrish.

@cade5400 March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

Oof what’s going on with the audio versus the pod 😅 Gotta sort this out if YT exclusives are gonna keep drawing people

@HughWP6683 March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

The hosts say they wiah they had kier Starmer as the leader of their country… Politicians like Kier Starmer are the reason you now have trump! Centrists who do nothing to solve societal issues and inequality but rather manage decline and alienate the electorate clear the way for far right so called "anti establishment" populists

@HughWP6683 March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

David Lammy, who claimed there were no journalists in gaza, and claimed that what is happening in gaza doesnt constitute a genocide because not enough people have died (something that is both offensive and bares no significance on the definition of genocide) is a friend of your podcast? Really? Pick your friends more wisely…

@Ryan-gx3hs March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

I saw Nish do standup in Tulsa, he crushed it. PSUK is great as well, and he and Coco have great banter

@Drew-ff5tb March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

I understand the importance of YouTube.

@ukscooby123 March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

The idiocy of the Farage followers is only matched by those of the maggots!
Reform UK, is NOT a political party it's a private limited company (check Companies House)

@kayleigh7670 March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

thank you so much for talking about long covid!!! i’ve had it since march 2020. i really hope the rest of the crooked pod boys connect long covid to our domestic dumpster fire & the rise of fascism here

@user-fyv9y79wv March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

Guys, how is it going to change the old guard of DNC? Schumers recent performance highlights soo clealry to the public why folks wont be voting for DNC anytime soon. No matter how many ticktock videos are released of "DNC fighters".

My honest opinion is that the old guard is clinging on because powerful backers dont want to see big money be removed from politics. Which is the only solution to genuinely fix this dilapidated broken system. That only works for a select few. Thats the only way to address the trust deficit ordinary folk feel.

@laluna5177 March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

Loved this! Can you do a show with this trio on regular basis?

@foster1972af March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

Nish Kumar is ab fab at stand up comedy.

@PhillySpecial19 March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

Good convo but your producer needs to track your mic levels!

@jeniferdevlin6914 March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

The Chancellor’s fiscal rules are rubbish, unless you are a neoliberal wanting to destroy the state – which describes Starmer perfectly. He lied to get to be leader of the Labour Party and then Prime Minister. He is an enemy of the working class, yet trade unions continue to contribute their members’ subs to the Labour Party in a blatant act of self-harm. They should defund and use the money to help get a new party of the Left up and running. Rachel Reeves’ policies will never reinvigorate the UK economy. She doesn’t care. She’s busy enriching her future with unsavoury deals.

@debraengler2474 March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

Turkey needs to be taken back by the Turkish people.

@susanstein6604 March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

Jewish students at Columbia are being threatened harassed and physically assaulted by protesters. I don’t think for a minute Trump genuinely cares about Jews or antisemitism. I don’t think Nish Kumar does either because antisemitism doesn’t count unless it’s from far-right wingers or Nazis.

@suchlanguageface March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

First time i heard "Strong Man" i really did think Erdogan. I'm coming to the conversation from Australia – Trump and Orban or whoever are punks, and can we please have France make our pretend submarines?😂💙✨

@kayleyedwards7141 March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

Nice one Nish for mentioning long covid. Such a taboo but such an obvious problem

@IndependentWood March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

Welcome to California, Nish! I love Pod save the UK.

Love Nish!!!!! He's hysterical! Nigel is our Newt. I have long covid since jan 2020. Its ruined my life. I love Robby Williams.

@-_-MC-_- March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

CPAC hello!!!

@ollie-m7e March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

40:10 Zuckerburg the kid coming into school dressed as the bully to hope the bully won’t notice him is so on point 😂

@kirklamplugh5062 March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

Tommy (not his real name) is a scumbag. He should rot, whether that be in prison or not.

@OyvindBjorgo March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

Nish points out that the reform party isn't doing the UK's reputation as football hooligans any favours.

I'd just like to share that when my grandpa was participating in NATO military exercises here in Norway back in the 50s, the general rule was "don't attempt to get the Brits to do anything relating to the exercises during tea time, unless you particularly enjoy the risk of getting stabbed".

@alundavies1016 March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

I do think that Musk poking his nose into UK far-right politics is more likely to harm Reform and other parties than to improve them. His very visible bolloxing of the US makes him a very poor ambassador for the right wing. Most people despise him, people who find him engaging are already over there anywhere.

@somthingbrutal March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

isn't this the kind of thing drone strikes were invented for

@sueharris5117 March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

Nish is ace, he causes all the UK MAGA followers to wet their knickers just by existing.

@brianjones697 March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

I am from the UK I am not worried by Farage in the basis Reform and the Tories shall cancel each other out

@JaneShaw-s6c March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

Guys, can’t you put your microphone wraps away, not displayed on the shelf?!

@willrelf1377 March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

Starmer will hand the UK over to Reform with his utter spinelessness

@michaelnoller9063 March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

I can tell you why brexit is not being eliminated in Britain. Because it caused a massive trauma and we argued about it from 2016-2020. Most people want to just move on. Even though it was a massive mistake.

@sophieparry8926 March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

As a woman in the UK we on the left are royally pissed off by these cuts

@Komrav March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

Love Nish, but I cant agree on that last point. Brits dont think of shit about the special relationship imo. Its all political bullshit

@Komrav March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

100% contempt for Nick Clegg. F this guy.

@katc7669 March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

Nigel Farage pushed hard for Brexit, while Russia's geopolitical goal according to their geopolitical playbook ("The Foundations of Geopolitics " by Alexandr Dugin) called for separating the UK from Europe. Interesting intersection of interests.

@theresecallaghan March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

I love Nish. He’s so funny! And a terribly nice guy

@eurovnik March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

I'm a Brit and a big fan of Pod Save America and Pod Save the World.

Pod Save the UK is a massive disappointment – complete amateur hour and at odds from the rest of Crooked Media's output.

Why on earth don't you have experts and pros as hosts of your UK-focused show?

@AmandaClark-u5n March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

I’m sure starmer will invest in Green policies where he physically can. At the moment ukraine is a greater priority for everybody

@AmandaClark-u5n March 29, 2025 - 3:05 pm

I am a labour supporter constantly to the far left who say that starmer should have invested fully in Green policies which would have given us greater growth. Their criticism is in a post capitAlist world we need to stop shoring up the greed of the corrupt bankers where the money is not being in vested
