It's wrong to say the left hasn't changed. Over the last decades, the society itself has moved left – legalization of same sex marriage, transgenders in the military, sports, recognition of non-binary gender, gender neutral language, LGBTQ education, drag queens in schools, climate/CO2/carbon neutral/renewable energy, more feminism etc.

I don’t understand how it’s controversial to say I don’t want to be called cis, to say I don’t want to be forced to use pronouns no one understands (because many of them were just recently made up), to say I don’t think children should be put on puberty blockers, to say sex assigned at birth makes no sense, to say that teaching the gender unicorn in elementary school is not appropriate, to say that the confusion between what is a woman and what is a man is ridiculous nonsense that doesn’t help anyone but rather is causing conflict, to say that kinks should stay in private and not in public—I.e. graphic pride parades and furries, to say that drag queen story hour is disturbing, to say that polyamory is not stable, to say that there are way too many children growing up without fathers, to say that there is way too much disdain for men, to say that promiscuity and s@x work should not be normalized, to say that while abortion should be legal, it should never be celebrated, or to say that because you don’t agree with me that I am some horrible phobic person that should be cancelled.
