All this gloom & doom about the U.K. economy.

Investors loosing confidence.

The U.K. is currently running a trade deficit of around £45 billion per year.

But it is also investing heavily in wind, solar & nuclear, whilst more & more of the cars being sold are electric.

As the U.K. imports £66 billion each year in gas, oil & electricity, the current government’s foresighted strategy of spending now, to not only reach net zero, but also energy independence is actually a game changer.

Once we are not spending so much abroad, more money is earned by U.K. companies & individuals & so the amount raised in taxes goes up.

We are headed for a bright future where the U.K. has a surplus in our balance of trade & much lower government deficits.

Don’t be gaslighted by the likes of Kemi Badenoch & Nigel Farage who want to reverse course.

🤔

Alarm bells 🔔 started ringing when the country voted for labour

One of the biggest problems is as with several of my friends with large business, the economy and labour have forced them out of the country. Thereby loosing the country lots of businesses and its them that fund and grow the country growth.

Although it feels like armed conflict is everywhere, the reality is that humans have never seen so little loss of life from armed conflict. More people die from suicide than all of the conflicts and crimes combined. This dramatic reduction started immediately after nuclear proliferation…..

Hope the Greens can break through as i have right-aligned disillusioned friends who are Green-curious. Just hope they don't harp on about Gaza endlessly as it makes regular people switch off through fatigue and focus on daily living cost pressures.

Keeps💰 borrowing to give it to Thousands of immigrants and their families all free+up Ukraine+military, meanwhile UK citizens living here already on poverty 🙄

@Alex-y1f4h October 6, 2025 - 3:54 pm

How does bring immigrants who need welfare payments to live, going to reduce government debt?

@Alex-y1f4h October 6, 2025 - 3:54 pm

Increasing taxes, increasing government spending and increasing regulations isn't going to grow the economy. Generous welfare payments and new cars for people who can work but will not work will not grow the economy either.

Saying we are going to grow the economy isn't going to grow the economy either.

The US, China and even Russia are thriving on their mineral deposits but we continue to virtue signal by not drilling in the North Sea. Even Norway is drilling in the North Sea and selling it to us. The Starmer cruise liner won’t run on solar panels and it’s dropping businesses and wealthy people off at every port and replacing them with unknowns from around the world. As inflation pushes up the cost of running the cruise liner the world credit card ( aka the bond markets) is jacking up borrowing costs. Captain Starmer’s boat is adrift, taking on water with no money to run the bilge pump!

Nick Ferrari looked so rattled by Zack. The thing about 3 billion a week for the NHS. Yeah it sounds like a lot. So does 1 billion. So does 6 billion. But how much does the service actually require to perform properly? That’s what matters. Not some arbitrary amount that sounds scary.
