BBC, and people of other nations. My name is Faye, a Filipino, an ordinary citizen of the Philippines. Allow me to voice out the sentiments of majority of the Filipinos. President Duterte, was and is love by us Filipinos all over the world. He is the only president that made us feel safe, made us truly proud of being a Filipino. He gave us hope, he led us through a Pandemic, mind you we are known to be 3rd world country but during the pandemic we were at par with most of nations. He did that for us, because he truly believes that lives of the Filipinos are worth fighting for.

There is a possibility that the drug lords have men in pnp who took advantage of the war on drugs by duterte. 😅 But, the govt is against him so no wonder everything is blamed on him when the true masterminds are celebrating that he's now taken by ICC. 😅

ICC only effective towards developing countries, I’m not Philippine but the hypocrisy is ginormous. ICC is like a tumour size football in the butthole.

@7SeventhFromAdam March 16, 2025 - 1:22 pm

This is obviously politically motivated.
Mr. Rodrigo Duterte's arrest is a gross violation of his rights. This is unacceptable. Republic of the Philippines' Sovereignty is undermined illegally. Marcos threw Duterte under the bus. Bongbong Marcos is a snake. 😡😡😡😡😡

please bring back duterte.. the only president we feel safe on his reign. ❀❀❀❀❀ drugs are rampant in my country now. marcos is a cocoane user.

@jnac8857 March 16, 2025 - 1:22 pm

The ICC has no jurisdiction over the Philippines, we are not a member anymore, the ICC charged Duterte on 43 deaths of drug users and criminals and called it Crimes Against Humanity!!! What a joke, 1.2 million drug users surrendered voluntarily during Dutertes war on drugs!!! A kangaroo court kidnapping the most respected and beloved leader of our country. For context, our own legal system tried and prosecuted two former presidents and they served time in prison. . President Duterte was never charged of anything here in our country.BBC is a globalists pig!

Please! Please !help khmer people..Icc have to arrest mr Hun sen and his family. Hun sen killed alot of khmer people and also he is the leader of mafia etc.

@bidyosko March 16, 2025 - 1:22 pm

This is fruit of a poisonous tree. Philippine Courts are strong and not controlled by current President. That is why they are using the ICC warrant as a way to politically persecute Duterte.

@harvey1954 March 16, 2025 - 1:22 pm

Time to investigate the ICC connection with the drug cartels. Duterte was cutting into their drug profits ?

@qnotesproducts5982 March 16, 2025 - 1:22 pm

What about the drug dealers that kill thousands of people with drugs

@1949cr March 16, 2025 - 1:22 pm

This is like the support for the guy in the USA, Mangione, after he may have assassinated the medical insurance dude in New York. The press just dont get it. Duterte has to be the most popular leader for the last five decades. Ask any Pinoy how he turned most of the villages and urban slums into safe places? You could hardly get any critic anywhere in the country, except for relatives of these criminals. My wifes uncle, a notorious local drug dealer, turned himself in because he quickly saw the writing on the wall. This will prove the undoing of the Marcos family. Support for Duterte is legendary. At his presidential inauguaration, no Philippines symphony orchestra, just one local guitarist, Freddy Aguila, one of the country's great singer song writers Any wonder people love him. Watch the collapse.

Knowing that the BBC is utterly full of bs I’d probably be right in assuming that this story is a lie.

@aliciaavelino9365 March 16, 2025 - 1:22 pm

The parents are responsible for the death of their children by allowing them to use drugs. The parents must be held responsible not the Policemen and FPRRD . Parents lack of supervision and guidance therefore. should blame themselves.

@BrianPajak March 16, 2025 - 1:22 pm

Nobody has the right to take a life as only God has the power to take it as well as to create it. If he really ordered to kill those people in an unimaginable brutal way and you ask me if it's wrong then my answer will be yes. Someone's crime is not your ticket to take someone's life in a most savage way of doing it. But if you ask if what he did made us the majority of the Filipinos experienced to live in a safer and better Philippines even just in a short period of time? ABSOLUTELY ! ! !

@wendiwonderly1419 March 16, 2025 - 1:22 pm

Duterte’s downfall certainly is politically motivated by president Marcos and his family. That said, few people will feel sorry for Roddy if he is dealt with by the ICC. Remember the Nazi war criminals claimed that they were subject to the victor’s “justice”. The scapegoats and the spoils of war. Who felt sorry for them?

@soulsoothermusic1154 March 16, 2025 - 1:22 pm

WE LOVE FORMER PRESIDENT DUTERTE!!!!!!!!!!!!❀❀❀❀❀

@mohamoudfarah5907 March 16, 2025 - 1:22 pm

Why? So many young people in the Philippines would have be on drug. He did the same thing El Salvador did locking them all up. My thing is unless you live in one of those countries, and you know how the system works. I hate people who just judge.

Why haven't Bill Gates or Anthony Fauci been arrested??
