Ok look, I think he is incredible and I can't wait to see him next month in Vegas but I will say that none of their cards looked like they were torn how they tore them but maybe that's just me🤔
When they were down to just 3 cards and he asked the volunteer "top, middle, or bottom", the matching card was on the bottom so couldn't this trick have failed if the volunteer had said "bottom"? Or when there were only 2 cards left, what if the volunteer had chose "bottom" instead of "top"? How could Shin Lim have predicted which choices they would make?
I went to his show in Vegas and he opened with it. I messed it up.
Pretty easy trick. I didn't want to tear up my cards at home so I opened up Word and just wrote down some random cards and then manipulated each line as Shin Lim directed me to. You can see clearly the end result. Below is right after the cards were torn in half and stacked on top of each other. You can go from there:

I just did that card trick and it worked!!! Wow unbelievable!!!
you can do this trick on your own by following these steps:
– let everyone have n cards
– tear them in half, place one pile on top of the other
– let people pick a number in 1 to n+1
– if people say anything but n-1, let them cut that number of cards (move from top to bottom), go back to previous step
– if people say n-1, let them movethat number of cards from top to the middle
– let people put the top card in their pocket
– use any excuse you can think of to let people discard all cards, except the bottom one
– that one should match perfectly with the one in their pocket

That was nuts. Great trick I saw Shin in person in Vegas. I won't spoil it for anyone but the "magic" he ended the night with was one of the best gotcha moments of my life.

If you’re trying to look like you had a Extremely bad hair day you really are doing great at that stay away from electrical units however absolutely love your programs and your shows and your magic is phenomenal but the hair you got to do something professional with it please

Saw this guy with a girl I was dating back in 2020. Dude was great. He really knows how to rouse the audience and make a show just about card tricks fun and interesting.

Because I didn’t want to rip 4 of my cards I actually did this with 8 cards except making sure I had 2 cards that were the same and simulated the ripping and placing them on top of the cards, AND IT STILL WORKED!!😂😂
