I heard that Sly Stone died in his van on Crenshaw bl. I know the group was carrying on without him. I enjoyed his music. RiP.
Sly Stone changed my perception on life with his lyrics, dressed in a funky beat. We will never forget him. He was one of the first musicians who used his craft as a revolutionary freedom fighter in the US. RIP Mr. Sly.
Rest in Peace, Sly. Regards, Michael M. Kamau, Nairobi, Kenya, East Africa, 10th June 2025.
