And if Democrats cared about people more than they do sound bites they would sign the CR, reopen the government and then do the negotiations for healthcare. They won't because they don't really care about the people.

@avenue8822 November 9, 2025 - 1:39 pm

More lies.
The question they asked was "Do you blame Democrats, Republicans or Trump for the shutdown?
42% blamed Democrats.
%26% blamed Republicans
25% blamed Trump.

So they add up Trump and Republicans to get that 'majority'.
WOW

@AnthonyOrtega-bw4kp November 9, 2025 - 1:39 pm

Some MAGA folks are finally waking up after a Trump induced coma. Let's hope by midterms, they all snap out of it.

@Me-gf5ym November 9, 2025 - 1:39 pm

Voters of all persuasions correctly blame Republicans for elevating partisan politics above their own interests; and are sick to death of Trump's puerile, empty and endless broken record rhetoric about Biden and radical lunatic Democrats.

@Robles-j3t2g November 9, 2025 - 1:39 pm

@Bob-r1d7n November 9, 2025 - 1:39 pm

I don’t know about that! Some polls I see, say Democrats are to blame and it’s obvious they’re the ones holding out!

Most people do not blame Republicans

@alexandermiranda5786 November 9, 2025 - 1:39 pm

We have to vote out the evil republicans

@sonarahauser3087 November 9, 2025 - 1:39 pm

Sitting here in Washington state listening to the lies from 🎉Patti Murry! Disgusting, she didn’t address the issue in a email I sent her and all she does is blame Trump for her inadequacies. Action speaks louder then lies and laziness.
. I can’t stand these politicians who do nothing for their constituents, U.S. a Taxpayer! Out Murry! We need an active senator looking after Americans not a sheep following the money. Let all illegals migrants live on your property….you feed the homeless and illegal s, for a year then perhaps we might listen.

@michaeldavis6607 November 9, 2025 - 1:39 pm

Dems are 15% approval rating and those 15 are the Karen's you see on YouTube.

@kiethsmith-z8l November 9, 2025 - 1:39 pm

Yeah most democratic voters boneheads

@Pteromandias November 9, 2025 - 1:39 pm

Well this is absolutely bonkers. You literally have a vote every day. One group voting to open the government, one group voting to keep it shut down. Those voting to open are republicans. Those voting to keep it shut down are democrats.

Maybe this is all the proof we need to do away with this stupid experiment called democracy. Most people are too stupid.

@jasonsarnacki3720 November 9, 2025 - 1:39 pm

And this is how dumb NBC thinks it's viewers are.. hold on a minute we got to try and brainwash you real quick😂😂😂

@BarryNewmanboenairgeez56 November 9, 2025 - 1:39 pm

Yet another b s lie by these guys.

@ArizonaSquatch November 9, 2025 - 1:39 pm

Most? The GOP have control of Congress and the White House. The can't do anything for the American people. The problem is lack of term limits. No one wants to work unless their guy is in the oval office. They sit and wait. The US government hasn't functioned properly for decades. He's how to solve it. 2, six year terms for Senators. 2, 4 year terms for House members. 1, right year term for the POTUS. You either move to the Senate from the House or to the WH if you want to run, or you go back to private life. You shouldn't sit in Congress for 40+ years and hope to die in office.

@teresawebster3498 November 9, 2025 - 1:39 pm

Key items in the Democratic proposal that have been highlighted by Republicans as points of contention include:
• Extension of ACA Subsidies: Permanently extending the expanded Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) subsidies (originally from the COVID era) that are set to expire at the end of the year.
• Healthcare for Undocumented Immigrants: Restoring or providing taxpayer-funded healthcare access (specifically Medicaid) for undocumented immigrants.
• Reversing Medicaid Cuts: Rolling back $50 billion in rural health care funding cuts enacted in prior Republican legislation, which Democrats argue would hurt vulnerable hospitals and clinics.
• Increased Spending and Specific Projects: Adding approximately $1.5 trillion in new, overall spending for the year. This reportedly includes funding for programs such as NPR and PBS, climate and diversity/equity/inclusion (DEI) initiatives, and specific global LGBTQI+ projects.
• Work Requirements: Removing work requirements for able-bodied, non-working adults on taxpayer-funded health programs.
• Administrative Authority: Seeking commitments that the White House will not continue to make "mass firings" of federal workers or unilaterally claw back congressionally approved funding through rescissions.
Senator Schumer and other Democrats have stated they are willing to negotiate on these points in the standard appropriations process but will not agree to a "clean" continuing resolution (CR) that simply reopens the government without addressing what they term the "healthcare crisis". They argue that Republicans should come to the negotiating table to resolve these issues in a comprehensive, bipartisan deal.

@xztwarner November 9, 2025 - 1:39 pm

Two different worlds people live in.. Approval ratings are skyrocketing for Trump according to other media outlets. I think news channels need to be more clear that these polls are only voted on by their viewers and not the general public.. this is not at all how the country feels. This is how NBC viewers feel.

@Vladimirvalverde-z3v November 9, 2025 - 1:39 pm

Everything KAMALA HARRIS SAID 2024

It came TRUE.

@sirblack1619 November 9, 2025 - 1:39 pm

The typical voter tends to stick with their previous choices, so it's no surprise that many will vote the same way they did last time. Trump supporters believed that the policies of this administration would harm others, not them. Now they are crying their frustrations online.

Additionally, it's clear that many voters are hesitant to support third-party candidates, despite the presence of some promising options. If a candidate isn't affiliated with the Democratic or Republican parties, they often struggle to gain traction. Real change requires effort and a willingness to explore alternatives beyond the traditional two-party system.

But I am just preaching to the choir…….

@AZsportshut November 9, 2025 - 1:39 pm

It’s democrats fault for sure. Steve Kornanck has been wrong on almost every poll… don’t know why he still has a job with MSNBC

@mjhzen8313 November 9, 2025 - 1:39 pm

Hearing about Americans losing their jobs, Americans becoming homeless, Americans standing on long lines at food banks, and Americans going hungry, are pleasing to Trump's ears. There's no doubt that Trump will be enjoying the holidays.

@markthomas286 November 9, 2025 - 1:39 pm

What 43% of people approve of Trump and the Republicans in any way.

@todoutah November 9, 2025 - 1:39 pm

How can we trust these forecasters if they always fail?

@RicardoGonzales-z5t November 9, 2025 - 1:39 pm

It is the republicans fault for this shutdown, no one else is to blame.

@alexscott6095 November 9, 2025 - 1:39 pm

Trumpflations just going to get worse with the trump government shutdown going on 5 weeks.
Hope he doesn't have to stop construction on the Epstein memorial ballroom.
