She said "they don't know what's happening to them". Neither did their victims.

@wolfmaxzan1 February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

@Mr.Strickland-21 February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

I'm a firm believer that Thou Shall Not Kill!! It's very sad when a human being murders another human being, it hits different tho, when a person harms a little one/a child definitely, but to think that person won't do harm to another person by putting them on death row doesn't mean you're killing/stopping the demon that possessed the one on death row, true enough that person will die, but guess what, that demon leaves the body and flees to another person, therefore starting the process of potentially harming another human being all over again and more being on death row!!! Imagine a world with no demons, we'd all be where Jesus Christ intended for us to be, and everyone would be just as loving and loveable!!! Ephesians 6:12 So stop the killing because if they're killing the killer, are they any better than the murderer? 💯

Convinient excuse.
Carry out the sentence.

What happens when ignorance rules the justicesystem in USA.

@johnneal7169 February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

I like that, she says that the jury just couldnt get past the gruesomeness of the crime. Shes really smart to know what 12 complete strangers thought about while deliberating, and basically say its their fault for thinking that way. Why are "reporters" like this employed in this line of work.

@johnneal7169 February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

Youre not doing a real investigation if you go into it with your mind already made up. Her very first question to the guy that says hes crazy was "i know youve been mentally ill for most yoyr life, what is your very first memory of knowing you're mentally ill?" Really? And of course he goes on to answer the question. Well fuk, i thought if youre truly mentally ill, you dont even know it. You think something is wrong with everyone else, or you dont think at all about it. I miss the days where people that did investigations went into it open minded. Doing all that they could to find out the truth. Investigate both sides. And show that truth to the public.

Well done vice. We need more such documentaries

@knucklegame5050 February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

If u take the life of a Caucasian female PLUS her Two Kids, AND Ur "Black." Maan Mental Illness wont even be a "Factor" in ur Case. smh

@SoulSingerJTait February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

Someone pulling their eye out and eating it definitely sounds insane.
They don’t even show things like that in movies. The worst.

@Fre-k6f February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

They are safe by themselves so leave it like that

@Jersey.D3vil201 February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

There is a huge misconception that if someone is found not guilty by reason of insanity that they're free to go (and this ruling is exceedingly rare). Not the case. They are committed to a psychiatric institution in lieu of prison usually for most, if not the rest, of their lives.

@louisemanning9542 February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

@RandomComment6 February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

It’s a damn disgrace that our prisons are now considered the largest mental institutions.

@SVqz-Gnzlz February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

In my personal opinion, why these ppl want the inmates to look humans ? How about the ppl they hurt and they are not here because of these inmates. Laws really suck

@Alan-dp2id February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

Just because you hear a voice in your head telling you "go and kill" it doesnt mean you have to do it.

@Alan-dp2id February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

🤷 🤷 🤷

Life with no parole imprisonment IS the death penalty. Law or no law.

@kidbuu4238 February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

Nobody cares. Period.

@Dabashadotcom February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

These are the most manipulative liars in the country. Remember that.

@enohp660 February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

I do believe some people fake mental illness but not the guy who ripped his own eyes out. That 🥷is final boss level crazy.

@Maintenance75 February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

This is bs

@Poptsrtt February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

Damn this is going to be 👍😢

@truewantsaband February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

I sincerely don't get it. If they're mentally ill, how would that make their execution wrong? It's merciful. He can't help hurting other people and himself.

@saemwill6380 February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

'And christians typically…. ' don't show mercy… This nations is so disgusting…

@saemwill6380 February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

And they don't even have free healthcare!! Are the usa the most barbaric nation in the world??!

@saemwill6380 February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

Looking from the outside usa down, especially since the last election, the world asks: are the mentally ill really the ones inside death row?

@danida776 February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

@jessicaroberts521 February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

so these men killed their wives and we’re supposed to be feel bad for them?? if this were a white man, then they would not be advocating this hard for him

@vickilawrence7207 February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

It would be horrible to have the responsibility for keeping someone like that man off of death row

@livinqlovelyy February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

Thats why I believe people like this should be locked up the insane asylum. Unless they were innocent and got falsey accused, but thats a different story.

@sinazom9010 February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

“Ruff upbringing, poverty, not a super stable home” Are an excuse to murdering his wife and her daughter and to murder those two boy too now?? 🙄

@breonnaford8709 February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

she is a wonderful journalist , taking the time to even bring awareness to the behavior of a person with mental illness also paying attention to how she interviewed the officer's and the lack of remorse or even understanding he had for the topic. behavior should not be excused but informed and understood that psychosis can occur.

@NahNah1480 February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

I would rather live amongst aliens. Humans are sometimes really scary…

@NacanieliRogoimuri February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

We humans as a whole need to work together towards healing, nurturing, teaching the young on how precious, how short life is. We've made it to the moon took pictures of other planets, created the nuclear bomb, should be easy squeezy fixing our lives together, feed the minds with good, learning to love each other, take and use what God has given us (nature) to thrive with.

@mickyzzzeee February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

I have BPD. I have made mistakes that borderline on psychosis under extreme stress.
I have never hurt anyone like that but have had urges.
It normally manifests itself in romantic relationships.
I was once told by a psychologist that people that have been through the amount of physical, mental and sexual abuse that you have are normally in jail or dead….not what I wanted to hear.
The abuse has cost me the love of my life……..
But I never killed or hurt anyone…..
I had a very successful career but after emotional trauma I regress into what I was when I was a kid.

It’s very hard living with it if it’s real….its like you’re living life through a glass where you try to get close but you feel you’re always on the outside looking in.

@Parasmunt February 16, 2025 - 9:15 am

If they had mental illness while doing the crime, that can be significant and could warrant institutionalisation in a mental hospital but i don't think the US does that very often. They go by the Puritan view of good and evil.
