I don't have an emergency contact and I also live with mental health. Thank God my ex left me for not taking my meds. I've been on meds almost two years solid, the longest since being diagnosed 24 years ago.
Cops treat everything like a pissing contest and force people to comply. Itâs always comply do what we say. Cops donât care they donât try to deescalate
Dont worry it's gotten WORSE
This is heartbreaking
The halls of U.S. government are where insanity dwells and swells.
Prisons are Profitable. Mental health is not. Follow the money.đ¤ Always follow the M.O.N.E.Y. đđ¤
Germany used to have best way to work with these people.
America with all its wealth is one of the cruelest countries and its people continue to support in its trend since it became a nation. Hearing all, from security guard, Warden and bottom of the barrel "'therapist" gave little confidence these people are in good hands. Appalling.
Id say the number is far higher than that!

Nursing homes and assisted living also has to deal with residents with mental illness housed with frail elderly.
You shouldâve listened to the words, of the inmates. This documentary told you a story but your eyes shouldâve told you a different one

This is so sad to see all these individuals suffer like this. Yes maybe they deserve to be in prison but just so sad and devastating to watch
Where I worked, which I wish I could name w/o fear of reprisals, we had worthless, overpaid executives who came up with stupid rules about petty thingsâwhile the other 99% of us did actual work for minimal pay. Things that needed serious consideration were never addressed. And when you asked questions, supervisors looked at you like you had five heads.
8:20 You get used to having feces thrown at you??
I worked at a community mental health agency for 21 years and we were treated like last weekâs fish wrapâwhile the idiots at the top got paid a fortune for doing absolutely nothing.
We NEED to reopen the asylums. These men do NOT belong in prison. Asylums must actually treat the patients under close supervision. The asylums cannot become snake pits as before.
Do you know that the USA government is making the same thing that the CHINA'S government the ORGANS HARVESTING to make money
Just take care about the hospital Denver health because they are a foucking shit of culture unscrupulous cowards murders psychopaths RATS of ORGANS.
Excellent Video and all prisons should have this help.
đ
Prisons are the new asylums, because thatâs probably the first time they have been diagnosed, not to mention meds, and some counseling.
Sus. Mga tamad lang yang mga yan! Mga nakatikim ng droga tapos akala nila tungkol nalang doon yung buhay! Ang gagalimg mag panggap..đ
The first man you see in this video broke my heart. Hearing him say that he doesn't have any family to call is such an awful reality. To be suffering from mental health issues with no support… that's rough. I hope and pray that he has found a mentor or someone who genuinely cares for him & his wellbeing. So many people in the world don't realize how lucky they are just to have family & people to turn to in a time in need. & then you have the other half of people, who have people who care & they completely take advantage of the fact that they have a loving support system to help them navigate their hardships.
Itâs horrible to treat a human being this way. Itâs so sad, so unfair, a horrible life.
The system sets these people up for failure! Please look for help for these people before letting them out. No where enough mental health treatment, and not soon enough, also not affordable. Totally fudge upđ¤¯đ¤Ŧ

3 hots & a Cot. These men are twisted , sadly
I been there..JAIL makes people worse, n always will. Thats what keeps the SYSTEM running…
Because the office of mental health is a joke. They would rather have them in state hospitals or locked up. It's easier to have them locked down than go into a community where you really have to put in the work. Our communities do not want to pay for transitional housing and support.
i was worried for bipolar condition people. lol right away THEY ARE SCHIZOPHRENIC. oh right
"Why have prisons become the new asylums?" Because liberals told you that we aren't allowed to involuntary commit people to an asylum. And enough people fell for that stupidity and that left people that needed help, with nowhere to go. So prison is where they end up. Bring back asylums and you start to solve this problem.
16 years for snatching a purse is crazy. You can murder someone today and get 2 years. Times a change.
This is old video. Itâs absolutely out of control now.
Thank you Ronald regan for nothing, he destroyed our mental health system only to be one of the rich guys dying with dementia and well taken care of.

We don't have a mental health system in this country anymore and it is Sad! Our son is level 3 Autistic and we worry about his future when we die. In America, there are three choices for the working class in our case .
1. The streets, which he wouldn't survive long.
2 Prison, same results.
3. Death
Thanks Ronald Reagan and Republicans.
From what I have seen I think the new asylum system is the streets sleeping in tents. I donât really understand why they shut down the asylum system but I think they should really rethink what we need to do differently for the people who are living homeless and in a world of misery.
Prisoners strictly security not mental health
Mental health beds are a !it cheaper than prison beds
It is believed that Reagan shutdown many mental hospitals… we need prison reform.
How much really is this from that of the Dark Ages? How far from those times have we come? Not too far I don't think.
My grandfather worked at our city state hospital as a janitor he said our whole lives they never should have closed state hospitals because mentally sick people will end up in our jails an he was absolutely correct itâs so sad. To see this they should have been regulated and have accreditations for better care it would have been a lot better than just closing all of them an leaving the sick to their own devices and world. He was right on so many issues he died last year at 97 years old â¤
I was a CNA..in Pennsylvania during the pandemic..
