Poor Rory, he acts like he is so worried about one liberal or another when the only thing that REALLY troubles him is that his wife is losing a $1 million grant payment from the hidden money USAID that Trump shot in the head! Not a good idea, Rory, to bite the hand that feeds you. BTW, he and Allistair gushed over Kamala who uttered this word salad last week:
“Where there’s a vacancy, let’s fill it. Let us know that the reality is that the progress of our nation has been about the expansion of rights, not the restriction of rights,” Harris said. “We’re seeing a U-turn right now. For those rights to be maintained, which means we have to be vigilant. It’s just the nature of it.”

And the death of Trump, what then? Coming soon.

@carnivaltym February 21, 2025 - 6:41 pm

I'm much closer to the hard left, but I'd vote for this man to be the next British PM.

@Heather-zk5eu February 21, 2025 - 6:41 pm

The west had all of this time to implement and negotiate a two state solution – instead they’ve happily watched (not a war) a massacre, propping up and sending arms to a madman.

Basically E is on the spectrum .

Watching these two blokes blokes musing over World politics, reminds me of a candle flame that is slowly dwindling. Their wick is coming to an end and they know it.

@mikewark6408 February 21, 2025 - 6:41 pm

Rory gets it all wrong as usual, and the zombies line up to echo his hysterics. What's happening globally is the return of freedom and common sense. Globalist shills just hate that!

@patrickbrennan911 February 21, 2025 - 6:41 pm

26:09 it’s an interesting point, Alistair. However, you chose to leave are European bloc (I know you were against it) and there are consequences, for that. The consequence is when other powers become isolationist and see themselves as Topp Dogg in geographical blocks, e.g. America, Russia, China, you find yourself a pawn without allies

The reality of this is why I always felt tech noir is the most realistic depiction of the future of humankind and the world.

@jeffwiseman3840 February 21, 2025 - 6:41 pm

I think it’s possible to explain the popularity of right leaning leaders around the world because
many people have it baked into their mind now that climate change means that we’re in for a hellish future. The very rich are thing with grab all wee
Can now, because we know damn soon that the world‘s going to havehellish future. The people who vote for them are desperate for some kind of stability.

Welcome back to the best President America has had !!
Donald J Trump!!!

@forceofnature253 February 21, 2025 - 6:41 pm

I found the book "The Decay of American Democracy" by kj harper helpful in understanding what is going on behind the scenes here. Long story short, for the rich and powerful, government is the enemy. Harper makes this point – could you imagine a well-funded IRS and what it could do to those whose who cheat the system? The answer to prevent this – small government. Starve the agencies from doing their job by reducing their funding and then blame it on "inefficiency". Take away the oversight while they continue dismantling the government. I found harper's projections for the next found years to chilling.

Great Vid!

@TomCotter-y5p February 21, 2025 - 6:41 pm

We should follow his examples

@drmbachler2312 February 21, 2025 - 6:41 pm

I really think Rory is to the left of the current Labour Party. I can't believe he ever thought of himself as a conservative.

@WillSigmond-l2f February 21, 2025 - 6:41 pm

I criticise you two a lot but just to say you are a lot more even handed than James O’Brien who divides our nation like no other with wall to wall fact omission

@WillSigmond-l2f February 21, 2025 - 6:41 pm

Rory;
Protectionist = fair trade

Isolation = self reliance and confidence, still global

You lie with every sentence

@WillSigmond-l2f February 21, 2025 - 6:41 pm

Around 22 mins in, Rorys voice does that bricks in a cement mixer thing

No self awareness

@WillSigmond-l2f February 21, 2025 - 6:41 pm

Bolton losing security clearance is absolutely essential you wallies

@WillSigmond-l2f February 21, 2025 - 6:41 pm

I guarantee that when Trump uses pre-emptive pardons, you will go ape

Biden previously said pre pardons would send a terrible message to the world

@WillSigmond-l2f February 21, 2025 - 6:41 pm

They just don’t get it:
We on the populist side don’t give a stuff anout Jan 6 , because you lot don’t care a fig about 18 months of Antifa rioting which was hugely more catastrophic

@WillSigmond-l2f February 21, 2025 - 6:41 pm

Both of you are old school fossils who would have recommended months of diplomacy by Rupert toffs to get Columbian leader to back down on refusing to let deportation planes land.

Trump solved it in minutes with extreme common sense

@cianog February 21, 2025 - 6:41 pm

Alastair Campbell the war criminal attacking anyone is hilarious.

@Contraster671 February 21, 2025 - 6:41 pm

I’m glad I’m old, because Trump is toxic. The young must see him down as we fought for our freedoms.

@stevenolive671 February 21, 2025 - 6:41 pm

Covid is back, but worse. Trump

@maxsuicide4767 February 21, 2025 - 6:41 pm

26:50 – Said it on your previous video; Western nations like Canada will be scrambling for alternatives right now. America's apparent desire to throw away its soft power and helping to usher in Putin's desired return to strong-man, imperial multipolar geopolitics can provide an opportunity of sorts.

Britain's push should be twofold; Getting into that EU-lite customs union (or some sort of deal near to it) as well as going after the Brexit pipedream of CANZUK, which surely now has more of a realistic ring to it in the void that the US is going to be leaving in so many global institutions, relative weakness of the EU etc.

Does Rory have any insight on the old Dominion relations, from his time in office?

@dgb916 February 21, 2025 - 6:41 pm

can you imagine if these guys would put even a quarter of the scepticism they have on trump towards Biden, some of the things they have downplayed and made excuses for are incredible

@MrChezyoung February 21, 2025 - 6:41 pm

Any chance of your merch bundle that hasn’t been signed by you?
