Why did this old post come up in my suggestions now? Have I ran out of youtube posts?
Something you did not bring up too much is most of it is auto tuned and pitched corrected, most modern singers do not even sing and what really makes it bad is they are starting to do the same with older songs, so goodbye to the great singers of old as they are made to sound modern.
The Beatles have NEVER WRITTEN DRIVEL!!!!!
I've got an inflated ego, an overwhelming sense of entitlement, a chip on both shoulders……
Could I be a DJ?
And modern writing is shite. Publishers should be spreading it on the crops, not forcing chick lit and Harry Potter down our throats.
Popular comedians are the same thing as music
What a world we live in
I feel sorry for this generation and what they were forced to listen to and consider good music. Thank God there is still Rock & Roll.
There will never be another Lennon,Cobain or Mercury
Was listening to nights in white satin the other day, Layla, Bridge over Troubled Water, Don't fear the Reaper.
Man, modern stuff doesn't even deserve to be called music.
Are you gay?
So Ed Sheeran has not written his own songs?
I understand the hate on Coldplay but at least they are musicians and songwriters. It was strange to see them work with Max Martin given his role in homogenising modern music but I do feel despite this theyâve retained a level of authenticity. The trouble is people have to make a living and the industry dictates how thatâs achieved! So good luck sticking to your âartistic principlesâ when someone is writing you a big fat cheque to shake your butt!
If one person, who is against Donald Trump, pisses me off one more time, Iâm voting for Donald Trump!
It's one of those songs that the first time you listen to it, you absolutley hate and despise it. But after hearing it for the 855,000th time in a little over three months, you suddenly realize how much you love it ! đ
I was (am) a Dylan fan, Springsteen fan, and also Progressive Rock. In the "olden days" music fans would buy a single album and it would be a great event. We would listen carefully to the record, meditate on the cover art, and really think deeply about the lyrics (Pink Floyd, Rush, two other good examples). For various reasons I was absent from public spaces for many years, so I had no idea what music was popular. I remember going to a coffee shop not long ago, and a Lady Gaga song was playing on the sound system. It was so bad, so infantile, so "stoopid" I was gobsmacked. "La la ooh la la, I need your lovin' and I need so bad." Or something like that. All set to a monotonous disco beat. It was almost like sonic torture, maybe something they would play at Guantanamo Bay. I asked the "barrista" there what is this crap and could they turn it down. She responded that she loved this music, and implied I was an asshole for even criticizing it. Again gobsmacked! I just stared at her blankly in disbelief. I don't want to sound like an old "fuddy-duddy," but I actually think it is objectively true that popular music is getting worse and worse. And worse. As to why this is, that's a whole nother can-0-worms.
You kids have no idea what music is. All you are served is garbage in and garbage out. Overly sexualised, degenerate, corrupt, tasteless, thoughtless, indecent, twisted, pointless, redundant. You little shits and twats can barely even speak or write! And you have no idea of grammar or punctuation. Pseudo abbreviations are do not constitute language. Theyâre downright idiotic.
Back to the original topic, here is an example of real music for you:
Dance Of The Spartans – Ancient Greek Music by Farya Faraji
Here is yet another:
Tsifteteli Shinanai
Iâm sure youâre getting the picture.
No snowflake trash. Real music is ancient Hellenic and Balkan music.
ÏÏα!
Tru dat đ I like you it and u are my favorite robot đ€ â€
