I think he was cheating on her and they were having problems she’s had a bad mental health breakdown either harmed him or gave him to parents

soo fucked up.. took that boy away from his loving dad who im sure he loved just as much.. took him on a road trip bought him kool toys and hit the waterpark that lil boy was probly loving life & i cant even imagaine how he actually died i dont even want to think about it ! now some ppl get real religious when shit like this happens but to me this just makes me think there is none at all bc why could shit like this happen to people for no reason at all.. thats nit gods plan it cant be he wouldnt make kids suffer such cruel fates i refuse to ever believe that
my only question honestly is why would she feel the need to give the child away instead of leave em with the dad ? did she have something against him or the family ? it dont make sense

The theory that she took Timmothy's life is strong but there's a detail about it that doesn't quite add up, they found her dead body and knew her route so where could Timmothy have possibly had gone? If Timmothy was deceased surely he wouldn't have been found much farther from his mother's body and definitely not in that timeline and surely not after all these years and all those searches and extremely thorough investigations conducted. So it's not conclusive it just becomes even more confusing.
If he still was alive he would basically be an adult who may have heard about this case. It's sad but I do think he's dead.
I live in Rockford and I’m scared it’s more of murder/suicide. There’s to many open fields and wooded areas by where she was found. If she did give the kid up, human trafficking has been terrible in Rockford for awhile now.
They went into a hotel together caught on cctv and neither were seen leaving that hotel ? So the mother is found deceased in the hotel room. How did the child disappear without being seen on cctv? His body wasn’t in the room? How strange. Only thing I can think of is a hotel staff member took the child because huh ???🤔
I’ll never knock or take away anybody’s bid with hope that something they love or want returns or shows up, but strike me down if I’m wrong & I hope to god I am, that little boy is no longer with us & how he copes is by believing he is I just hope someday he can accept that might not be true

I live near Aurora IL, grew up going there a lot for shopping or food, etc. My mother grew up and went to school in Aurora. When this happened it really shocked all of us. It’s so sad that he still hasn’t been found.😕
The aged seemingly looks different from features of real child. Perhaps original with possibilities should be presented. Prayers for generations past, present, and future!
I remember first hearing about this, and it's got to be one of the CRUELEST things one parent can do to another, especially if there is no indication of abuse or maltreatment. The thought she just left Timmy with others, but killed herself doesn't make sense, especially if she was so bent on having Timmy to herself. I wonder if she took his life too.

I feel so bad for the family. They are in denial about all of this. I do not believe she gave her son to anyone else. The fact that she took her son to water parks and bought him toys seems like she wanted his last moments to be good. This seems like a well thought out plan. She was probably in that area scoping for a discreet place to bury his body. She even changed clothes the day he went missing. Either she was covered in blood or drenched in water and dirt.
There's no doubt in my mind that she killed her son. I assume with her depression and her husband threatening to get full custody of Tim she couldn't bare the thought of not being with her son.
I heavily believe the reason she did not have Timothy with her when she killed herself is simply because she wanted the family to suffer especially the father. It sounds very malicious and selfish. She said they'd never see him again and she kept that promise. Nobody has seen him. Leads me to believe she hid his body very well.
If she couldn't have him nobody could. Often when parents kill their children and themselves is because they believe they are saving their children from the horrors of the world or they don't want to leave them behind..
I hope they get closure.

I'm sorry but I think the mother is evil and I think she's killed Timmy. Poor Dad.
