It’s because he’s basically a coward, but he has the power that was given to him by republicans. Many of whom, will suffer now by their benefits being cut. Meanwhile tax cuts for the rich. Republicans literally voted for someone who is taking what little they have and giving it to the rich, who of course will welcome it even though they don’t need it. That’s because you’re contemptible to the rich, especially, Trump. When he said he loved the uneducated, you thought he meant it.
