Every single person had a bad ass car. Every single one.
No one was overweight.
Iâm tired of half these comments making fun of our generations style choice, internet as if all our generation does is phones, as if you had phones and laptops you wouldâve been using them as much as us and probably asking girls for some dirties but I will admit there was less of an obesity problem then than there is now clearly.
We need to tax the rich at 90% like they did back in these days. BYE BYE ELON! You should have never existed.
My mom had that same Camero but in copper!
I graduated in 1977 from Northwest high School in Indianapolis Indiana.
What was the name of the high school that everybody else went to.
This is the year that I graduated.
Those were the loudest hallways when everybody got out in the hallway.
Not one bookbag… the good ole days đą
Both of my parents were born in 1977
You donât see that many white kids in school this days
Low population , high wages , no islam , loans easy to get , housing affordable , no angry femcels
The end of the American dream
Oh wow………… I forgot I had a blue trench coat I used to wear in high school……… And I drove a 1976 t-bird…….. What memories..
There wasn't any trans back then. Girls were Girls and Men were Men.
The 70s seemed so wild. Kids seemed more mature. In the 80s we were more buttoned up and innocent. What happened from 1977 to 1982 to make things so much more innocent?
I never liked lockers especially if it was no where near your next class, didnt want to be tardy lol…
I'm a 1990..but remember the 70s very fondly being born in 72…ya grew up quick in those eras in my opinion..baseball was big in our small Alabama town..( buster brown Bigfoots, friendship beads, sit n spin, green machine big wheel..etc..
People actually interacted with each other and didn't have stupid cell phones
Notice how healthy everyone is
This was a fancy school with swim and dive teams. We didn't have that at my school (still don't). Wonder if this was a private school?
They're beating tf outta those lockers.
'77 was a good year.
The kids wouldâve been 80 years old
All the same sh-t we did in the 80s and 90s and early 2000s.
Not one person overweight!! Not like today unfortunately!
My 1st year of high school Fall 77â in Brooklyn.. take me back there time machine
Me gustarĂa saber quĂ© pasĂł con algunos de ellos…
Those were good times.
I have a feeling of nostalgia because I'm just a few years younger than these kids and it reminds me of circa early 1980's at my high school. Wistful nostalgia because we were so young with so many decades ahead of us yes. But I can't say it was better than today. I really enjoy 2020's technology and lots of other innovations that we lived without back then.
Would you give every cent you have to be transported to this moment and live there going forward?
Is it just me or do you feel slightly like youâre in the pov of a stalker
No ghetto âgibs me datâ blacks. Pure Pleasantville bliss utopia.
Looks like school bags werent a thing before the 80's.
Love the cars, the styleâŠgreat era
Hey look, normal people without pink hair and metal in their faceđ
What really stood out for me is we dont see ANY ' Smash&Grab/Dine&Dash/I can't Breeve folks in the video & thats why it's special & also the way America should be…..Feral free
No key fobs.
Im forever jealous that I never got to experience this because I was born in 2000
I was 11 years old that year.
I can almost hear sweet emotion playing in the background like the intro to the movie Dazed and Confused.
We had no idea how blessed and fortunate we were.
Graduated in 81 drove a 1968 Firebird 400 to school. Life was so much easier then.
Best things⊠no phone no ai
Obanyan with the FQ paddle at 2:05
I think the person at the end said, "It sure looks like a camera."
Look at those extra wide parking spots.
