Magic Eye: The optical illusion, explained

For those of you who are having trouble seeing it, really all you can try to do is imagine that whatever screen you're looking at is transparent, and then try to look past it, "into the distance".
The beauty of these pictures is that once you hit the right amount of divergence, the repeating patterns will lock themselves into place, and you'll be able to look around and see the hidden stuff freely, without your eyes converging back. Then, do it enough times and you will have full control over the divergence.
Take it slow though. Start with the picture with the Airplanes, Dinosaurs and Cakes, it is a HUGE help!

For those of you who are gonna say that this is fake, the hidden message at 6:31 is "wow you did it" and "good job", and for the still skeptical, the one at the end is a winky face.

I had an ikea adde chair at home. I used to stare at the floor through those holes and the chair seemed to pop up and look much bigger. It was eaiser with the chair though because the floor was genuinely a lot behind the chair, so I didn't have to imagine looking a something behind, just actually focus on the floor.

As someone with a fixation disparity, this video just gave me a headache.

I think there is something wrong when I'm doing it because instead of seeing something pop out, I see everything else pop out except for what is supposed to pop out, also with the dino, cake, and airplane illusion the airplane is over all the lines, the dino is under one, and the cake is under all lines. So in my vision the cake is the farthest away and the airplane is closest. Also something cool is when you were showing a bunch of magic eye illusions in a row I did it really quickly on one, and then when it switched it still looked 3-d. Also when the dino, cake, plane illusion came after that even tho you showed something 3-d for a second, (when you showed the shadows) when it came back it still looked 3-d, so I stayed unfocused. Also I thought of a gif/video of a magic eye picture but instead its a video, so your watching a 3-d video. Kinda like 3-d glasses. Also at 6:35 it says, "wow you did it, good job!" With the letters that are supposed to pop out go in

Finally after 8 years! Finally I can see! I can see!

1. look far away.
2. look slowly in the near.
3. maybe shake yourself a bit until you see some pattern
4. focus it until the brain creates the rest

We don't see from a 3d perspective but rather a 2d perspective, like pictures. To understand this better, look at 3d street art. This means depth is perceived aka the depth perception, but because we're IN the 3d dimension if you could actually see in all 3 dimensions LxWxH you would be able to see any object all at once.

I watched the entire video trying to find one I could see until the VERY END when you said it could be because of my vision.

At 49 years of age I recently figured out how to see these. Amazing stuff.

Yeah I just try to see double vision and overlap the two dots without doing the extra step of trying to get four dots and then three dots. I just try to overlap the two dots that are already there and that's how I see it and it usually goes a lot quicker. And it's the same idea in the picture because it's always repeating patterns. I picked two of the patterns that are right next to each other and I just get those two to overlap instead of trying to do it that way because when you're actually trying to put it into practice when there are no dots then it gets hard to do because you can't make four of the patterns so that's why I just tried to get two patterns to overlap and then go from there.

l saw it pop as a 3D image..

I remember seeing this video years ago and not being able to see any of them for the life of me… and only 3 days ago was I finally able to see them. I CAN FINALLY SEEEEEEEE

It's simple, it was a scam from the 90's that everyone fell for.
You're supposed to buy all the expensive art and believe everyone who claims they can see it.
We proved this in Science class, you are just seeing what has been hypnogogically suggested, as in if I suggest every singe one actually has the F-Word in it then you'll start seeing that..

Anyway, I had an Rage inducing moment when a Zoomer tried to explain this to me.. Don't get fooled kids
