The beeping the background is very annoying
Change up the music in future videos. It's so annoying on an otherwise really great documentary. If very sad.
I barely noticed the background music to be honest!? I swear around 30 mins in I could hear a pool or snooker game going on off camera as the lead copper was trying to talk about Katie's murder!! Weird!
Beautifully done documentary of Katie’s case. Great approach to telling the story – no narrator needed. The story told in the voices of those involved in her case and her family is most powerful.
Only seconds in & wondering why the guy sniffed each of his hands in the jail cell…..
What part of these sentences are life terms. 20 years out in 10. This is a joke!

DI Bryony Midgley is an amazing police investigator along with her partner whose name I have not got yet.
You can see that woman police officer who was side by side in the interview with the male officer, was holding tears and tiredness in place. She is an amazing woman alongside all those who worked on this upsetting 😢 crime.
not very often this country doles out a decent sentence!, not that any sentence cud ever fix what hes done, im very glad to hear the fkr didnt end u with 10-14 yrs like a lot of these psychos do..

Right from the start of this video, there are things that did not make sense. it’s awful what this man has done and little doubt he lied from the start he clearly . There is talk about £6000 and there is a very big age gap between these people, I don’t understand how this man was able to con this woman into owing him £6000, this is not just speculative as He had clearly succeeded in a court action against her. we are told she had two children but there’s no talk about this man being the father of these children. We were never provided with any sort of backstory.
Background music was just too annoying which is a shame. I could not watch it all because of this.
That horrible constant bass-y music track made this so hard to listen to. it was far too loud and very intrusive of a very sensetive subject. RIP Katie 🙏

I found the background audio was intrusive to the poor quality speech audio. Other than that this shows UK policing and investigation is world leading in my opinion.

Why was this programme ruined by having a music soundtrack playing over it constantly ? Was hugely irritating. It looked good but I found it unwatchable.

I appreciate the glimpse into the brain-storming of the detective team. I find it unique to UK true crime shows. US shows tend to lean toward a narrative type of interview of what has already happened, but this shows the gears turning. Well done. Quite interesting and informative.
Audio problem

The hate crime police. The ones that criminalise the autistic for speaking up after an assault. The ones who lie and gather false info on records to prevent you getting a job, the ones you cant change what they have decided without a magistrate, which ruins your life. Yeah Lancs police are the criminals, and dispense the hate crimes. No wonder they do nott record them. You more likely to be found by someones dog, when you go missing in Lancashire (And they get paid all the same for their failure)!

Couldn,t complete the doc due to sniffing female DI with a face like a bag of spanners. She would do well to stop interrupting her colleagues at every turn.
