@remazawi7889 February 17, 2025 - 1:33 am

what a beautiful country and religion. i see nothing wrong with having a majority muslim country have muslim law which is basically sharia. what do u expect them to have christian law? the documentary makes it sound like a bad thing. people need to get out of their western brai washed bubble and appreciate other cultures and religions out there. they have no tax, free education and free healthcare. i bet any american or westerner would love to have that too !! well done Brunei !! Much respect to you and your people. Mashallah ❤

@Yellowstone20 February 17, 2025 - 1:33 am

Don't trust western journalist documentary 100%. They never understand. If we're not same with them, they consider us alien .

Right great reporting go to clubs ask drunk women what they think.

@oneydafernandez6359 February 17, 2025 - 1:33 am

This report is so hypocritical that they get invited to this country and they start talking negatively about them, people look happy, free health care, people should be respectful of others culture, trying to bash Muslims when they open their doors, got to be careful, they come as friends and then they trying to steal your gold and your land. I don't see anything wrong with this country, free health care free education. Can't stand people that go to other countries with their bias ideas.

@DianaStuckert February 17, 2025 - 1:33 am

The woman are treated well, educated, and the country is prosperous. The people are happy let them be.

MSM media crap told in colonial patronising way. The people, have free housing, no taxes, free education and free medical. Tell what western countries provides all of that???? Just crap reporting. He looks after his people. Compare that to the corrupt biden adninistration

@BarneysBullit February 17, 2025 - 1:33 am

Check your math. If he's been on the throne since 1967, that's only 57 years of ruling, not 76.

@TrevorDodd-ev1sx February 17, 2025 - 1:33 am

It looks like an amazing place to live. If I was able to live there with my family I am sure I would be very happy and relaxed.

@abdullatheef1 February 17, 2025 - 1:33 am

what islam is this?. The life of the so called royal people are totally away from islam. What kind of life their prophet lived?. Such luxury, wasting money. What Awrah they are talking about?. The so called princess can play without hijab?. Tight fitting cloths? they are making mockery of Islam.

@mrams9405 February 17, 2025 - 1:33 am

Lol the commentary is really trying so hard to make brunei look like north korea 😂😂

@therazakshow1264 February 17, 2025 - 1:33 am

@nikoc3925 February 17, 2025 - 1:33 am

Did it help Palestine? A selfish Muslim country. Justice will be needed by everyone one day.

@TasPao13 February 17, 2025 - 1:33 am

1:13 if he reign started at 1967 and he is reigning for 76 years that means that your are in the year 2043.
How is the world 18 years from now? I live in the year 2025..

@iemranjuffri4827 February 17, 2025 - 1:33 am

Money flows but you have to conform. On the other hand, we're all conformists or copyists. Copying is also a form of conformism. Do what's socially popular or generally regarded as chique. We seek outside approval.
Overall the documentary lacks content and there's an air of resentment to what other people possess that you don't. I would expect a discourse on the social net, education, the population, housing, military and government. How is Brunei growing or evolving going forward? Instead there's only a long highlight of lack of nightlife for a mostly Muslin country. Lol

@HPelitebookSvgFull February 17, 2025 - 1:33 am

Best country of the planet by far better than America and Canada and every western country.

@HPelitebookSvgFull February 17, 2025 - 1:33 am

I met with people of Brunei in many places and occasions, they all were vocal about the respect and love of their system. The Sultan is a good man … the west is attacking him only because he is protecting Islam.

@michelleabel3163 February 17, 2025 - 1:33 am

But I want to agree wit him.,d country is free of crime & peaceful

@michelleabel3163 February 17, 2025 - 1:33 am

I like how the people protect their monarch & laws, I think it's bcos d royal family cares for its people

@GeorgieMatthew-f2r February 17, 2025 - 1:33 am

"Who do you think you are, the sultan of brunei"

@TheFreshAirChannel February 17, 2025 - 1:33 am

" free of opposition " " his people have no choice " maybe the people like him? not every thing has to be run westren style. Its a conservative culture but its not a " regime "

@readyforknowing3009 February 17, 2025 - 1:33 am

No help whatsoever if you don't convert – well how about that? The sultan introduced sharia law but the royals aren't exactly model citizens & the family is above the law. So long as one doesn't have principles, ethics & looks the other way when others are persecuted one would certainly be happy in brunei.

@Miles76davis February 17, 2025 - 1:33 am

It seems to me that the people of Brunei have a good thing going. No taxes, free healthcare, free education, mobility in and out of the country, little to no crime, 80% untouched rain forest. A religion that guides them and keeps them on the right track. A sultan that cares about the people and tries to balance keeping everyone happy and peaceful (impossible task). Sharia law is always frowned upon, but that's Islam for ya. There are plenty of gay people in Brunei, and they aren't out there getting murdered. Look at most countries in the West, they can't even take care of their own people (crime, addiction, mental health, isolation, separated families, homelessness, not to mention their own indigenous people that have been abandoned and tormented). The audacity of this reporter to paint such a negative image of a country that let him and his crew in is disgusting. Also, just because the West does not agree with the whole marrying the cousin issue–there is a whole other world out there where these things happen all the time. The West is a failed system. People want freedom to no extent and will often if not always drink, smoke, fornicate, or become workaholics, with little to no family relationships. The West wants workers and sheep to keep the cycle of profit coming for the elites. At least this nation has a leader that takes care of his people and genuinely cares for them. Brunei is a welfare state, unlike all neoliberal, capitalist countries where globalism has taken over. More can be said, but it sure is pathetic to listen to people judge a country that is doing better than them.

@garyhillman4993 February 17, 2025 - 1:33 am

I’m always suspicious of countries that insist you have a tour guide by your side ie North Korea now here too. What do they have to hide , Notth Korea is oppression , this place too ?

@Infantryvet156th February 17, 2025 - 1:33 am

Im sorry but I think it's incredibly ignorant for anyone in the modern day to consider themselves to be royal or even blesssed by their imaginary gods. Like are serious? Nobody here is favored or more deserving than anyone by birth right. Its just human ignorance organized cults, false doctrine and the ignorant unsuspecting masses. That have been brainwashed to believe in them all. I swear all the wrong types of people are the leaders in this psycho occultic world. Nobody ever has the balls to openly tell the damn truth about all these religious doctrines and religious monarchies. But its wicked and based upon absolute fiction. Dont let anyone lie to you. They brainwash children into believing these things. Because its the only way you can control and completely derange entire populations. It's abuse to be teaching those lies to those young minds. Its happening everywhere in this world and if people continue to hold on to these toxic ways. It will inevitably result in the end of our world. The wheels are already in motion. All religion startes as some type of cult before they became culturally accepted by the majority of each society.

@maliahmer February 17, 2025 - 1:33 am

“Shariah strict regime”What about western strict regime where you have to pay high taxes on your hard earned income and still pay for health care and can’t afford good schools for your kids are forced to pay insurances in The name of law and safety and high crime rates in cities like London new York you can’t even walk safely at night no freedom of speech and the list is long west has a lot to learn from other societies instead of forcing theirs on others

@junefield5420 February 17, 2025 - 1:33 am
