by admin

What exactly does Trump mean by “taking over” Gaza? How have others reacted to Trump’s proposals? And how serious is he?

Corrupt, limousine liberal scum. Rory Stewart is yet another example of your deadbeat liberal UK politician who has his hand out via proxy or behind his back. A low rent corrupt UK politician who used his socialist connections – as they all do – to get his wife a plum gig with millions in USAid funding to do shit nobody needed or could plausibly audit.

A deadpan hypocrite. Gary Neville would be proud.

Kind of surprised, aren't you. You shouldn't be.

Americanism ‘own it’ / ‘Own Something’ be responsible for it – not necessarily take ownership..

Canada's plan for Gaza, is to give them back there humanity. ❤Isreal hasn't learned its lesson on genocide? đŸ˜ĸ

I wonder if either of you have listened to Musk explain what he is doing? And your comment Alistair that: "of course there will be some inefficiency" to dismiss DOGE is an inane comment. The question is how much is it only a few percent or is it a massive percentage. And if you start listening to the examples it sounds like the latter and DOGE is doing important work. Instead it sounds like you just get your info second hand from MSM (you know the MSM that said: Russia blew up it's own Nordstream 2 billion dollar pipeline, that if you were Covid vaccinated that you could not get, pass or die from Covid (when Pfizer's number 2 fronted the European Parliament and admitted they never had any evidence of that. Oh don't you know that – of course you only get your info from MSM…). You guys need to do a lot better than that.

I am a Canadian, America is now an Oligarchy. Trump thinks he owns the world.

@A_7-7-7_A February 21, 2025 - 10:46 pm

Ben Shapiro has really let himself slide into a cesspit, a lot of younger people that used to listen to him have been turned completely against him since the war in Gaza and bombing of Lebanon. He has always come across as a nasty little piece of work.

@susiea1419 February 21, 2025 - 10:46 pm

This whole thing is about the off shore oil

@piotrSowa1 February 21, 2025 - 10:46 pm

Do not you think that Trump opens the door for China's plan to take over the political or national economy of many countries, which could be losing Tump's support?

@clarelear129 February 21, 2025 - 10:46 pm

So sad we dignify his stupid ideas by even discussing them.

@clarelear129 February 21, 2025 - 10:46 pm

Trump should just offer for all Israelis to go to the US & the Palestinians can have their land back.

@ShyamaPagad February 21, 2025 - 10:46 pm

I find discussing this absolutely disgusting. It is like someone talking about occupying your house over your head because they took a liking to it. No respect for the Palestinians. Shame!

@Conn30Mtenor February 21, 2025 - 10:46 pm

More batshittery from the Orange Goblin.

Trump Gaza Plaza?

@trevorprice8986 February 21, 2025 - 10:46 pm

You are aware Kushner floated this exact idea in an interview six months ago ?

@catherinejudd7993 February 21, 2025 - 10:46 pm

I don’t believe that removing everyone from Gaza is ethnic cleansing —no.
Why?

Because Gaza is the size of Las Vegas—a medium sized city.

The city state of Gaza is uninhabitable in its current condition.

The initial offer is simply allowing anyone who wants to leave either temporarily or permanently the right to exit, just as Ukrainians have been allowed to leave during Putin’s war.

Those who renounce terrorist jihadism and an endless quest to commit Jewish genocide and destroy Israel can return after rebuilding otherwise no—they can’t come back unless they deradicalize themselves.

For the past 500 days Hamas, Qatar, the U.S. and Egypt have joined forces forbidding Gaza civilians from exiting preferring that they be killed or injured in a hot Gaza war zone. Now let them out of this hell-hole!

In addition, before the 1970s, the Palestinian identity was “pan Arab” not “Palestinian.”

Their language, culture, and religion are identical to other Arabs of the Levant and Middle East.

There are 450 million Muslims in the region—at least half (225 million) are Arab Muslims akin to the Palestinians. So demographics do not suggest relocation of 1.2 million Gazans as ethic cleansing.

Another point: How is removing 1.2 million Arab Muslims temporarily from a ruined and destroyed city to better housing with water, electricity, plumbing, food etc “ethnic cleansing”?

When Miami Dade County —approximately the size and population of Gaza—was destroyed in Hurricane Andrew—probably 1.2 million exited to Broward County (equivalent of Gazans moving to the Sinai in Egypt) and most never returned.

That was relocation from a disaster zone—ditto all the New Orleans people who left after Katrina.

This is disaster zone relocation not “ethnic cleansing.”

Gazans willingly ruined their independent 2-state for the past 20 years by turning it into a fully militarized city (a war crime)—

life for civilians there has been exceptionally miserable horror show for those entire 20 years—

let those who want a fresh start exit and rebuild their lives elsewhere or return when it’s rebuilt but only if they are no longer embracing jihadism.

@catherinejudd7993 February 21, 2025 - 10:46 pm

Biden administration kowtowed to Hamas, Qatar, and the head puppet-master Iran as if they were rational actors in the aftermath of Hamas’ Oct 7 grotesque terror attack against Israel. Palestinian jihad has never wanted a peaceful 2-state—never. It’s been 100+ years and they have never shifted their quest to destroy Israel. Hostage kidnapping and prolonged torture is just one of their tactics. The Bibas mother and her two babies are still alive—they are the “grand prize” which is why they haven’t been released. Iran, Qatar, and Egypt enabled the full militarization of Gaza over 20 years and therefore should house the evacuated Gazans. The Strip is uninhabitable. Gazans want to exit—Hamas wants to keep them hostage in the rubble.

@GaryPainter-u1h4f February 21, 2025 - 10:46 pm

i agree with Rory that this is becoming very like the 1930s. Unlike Trump I have read a lot of history and once again the World is not learning from it. The scary thing is that Hitler was elected, he didn't seize power in a revolution as the Bolsheviks did in Russia. A lot of the rhetoric he used towards those that eventually voted from him has bween echoed by Trump. What is disappointing and almost scarier is that enough US Citizens were prepared to vote for him after he had been found gulity of a felony plus what he incited in January 2020. "You get the leaders you deserve" is a statement I have heard meny times before!

@TesterAnimal1 February 21, 2025 - 10:46 pm

Why can they NEVER put forward any semblance of a rational argument for their genocidal views?

Disagree with ethnic cleansing.

Any counter arguments for ethnic cleaning? Nope just “You have TDS lol”

These people have NOTHING to say. It’s all a stupid game to them. It’s the depths of decadence that they treat all lives as just a game to be lolled at.

It’s PATHETIC.

We need to exclude the cuntry formerly known as the USA from everything. New security alliance based on Europe, Aus, NZ and Canada. Trading agreements likewise.

The USA is an anarcho-kleptocracy. A failed state. With no education their economy will dwindle. They appear to think they can run a country on pure hate. Won’t work.

@jasonthomas6106 February 21, 2025 - 10:46 pm

Rory @ 39:50 "it feels like the 1930s when you have the dominant party in Austria talking about removing Austrian citizens that are not white" If you see the rejection of integration by Muslims in our western society as OK and then try to wrongly frame it as racism to be concerned about it, then your dishonesty is what will cause an even bigger problem.

@curmudgeon1933 February 21, 2025 - 10:46 pm

9:10. Rory is a fantasist. Both the Conservative and Labour governments have been consistent in their constant supply of lethal military supplies to the Israeli government. To pretend to be shocked now, is beyond parody.

@curmudgeon1933 February 21, 2025 - 10:46 pm

I imagine this has less to do with the real-estate, and more to do with the 1.2 TRILLION cubic feet of natural gas that lies just off the coast of Gaza.
Sadly for the people of Palestine, they happen to be an inconvenient obstacle to that tempting morsel.

@curmudgeon1933 February 21, 2025 - 10:46 pm

Anyone seriously expecting to be believed, when they say they're shocked by these latest developments, are either, deluded, disingenuous, or showing clearly their lack of critical thinking ability.
#47 has displayed his cruelty, lack of empathy and sociopathic tendencies, for as long as he has been a public figure. Unless you also share these qualities, you would be repulsed by this.

@betsomo4807 February 21, 2025 - 10:46 pm

Trump can't help himself, he has to rip up Biden's peace deal. The real world implications of the Loudmouth President's irresponsible sound bites are soul destroying

@colincampbell4261 February 21, 2025 - 10:46 pm

Ben Shapiro – nasty little zionist.

@danielphillips2892 February 21, 2025 - 10:46 pm

Israel was created by the Holocaust, what the hell has Israel created by its bombardment of the Gazans and the rest of the middle east.

@andymyers4540 February 21, 2025 - 10:46 pm

Trump is a malignant narcissist. He has no long term plan, his only interest is unrelenting publicity. Everything he says and does is based solely on that. There is no masterplan it is all about self promotion and adulation Trying to understand the reason for his actions by looking for some hidden plot or reason is simply sane washing the lunacy of his slowly dementing mind. Psychologists, psychiatrists and other mental health experts have been warning of the danger of his personality disorders since 2015 and his campaign for 2025 revealed that his mind was slowly deteriorating. His rambling speeches, the speech paraphasias are all signs of Dementia. The media obsessed with Bidens ageing brain and his obvious cognitive issues, that is simply an aspect of old age and whilst some were starting to come around to reporting on Trumps decline all that has ended since the election. We are in dangerous times and the leader of the free world is not only mentally ill but has organic brain disease which is affecting his comprehension of events, his impulsivity and thought processes.

@AlexanderLintern-z7z February 21, 2025 - 10:46 pm

Plan for Gaza? Trump has a plan for Trump

@RichLowenberg-lc7ch February 21, 2025 - 10:46 pm

I just finished Rory Stewart's latest book, and I saw these guys on their tour. I'm a big fan, but Alistair has for a long time now had nothing interesting or valuable to say about Trump. He doesn't understand him or attempt to, he just moans about him. More thoughtful, open minded discussion on Trump would make the podcast better.

@2wheelsgood. February 21, 2025 - 10:46 pm

As much as I enjoy the podcast, reacting to Trump’s increasingly absurd and comically unserious ramblings on Gaza with a livestream is equally ridiculous. Please don’t dignify his ideas with a serious response. For the next 4 years the potus should be treated with the distain he deserves. A roll of the eyes before moving onto another topic would have sufficed.

@TM-yr3pc February 21, 2025 - 10:46 pm

Like many you are so diverted by what he says and his distasteful style; you fail to analyse sufficiently what he is actually doing.

@mirandapillsbury7885 February 21, 2025 - 10:46 pm

this is how we have all warned u this would end up. Everyone with a brain was able to tell that the end goal was going to be ethnic cleansing. I remember in the early 2000s ppl were saying exactly this would happen and here we are. I am surprised u guys are saying this is a switch in policy…this isnt…all our politicians have been leading to this moment

@simpaticaism February 21, 2025 - 10:46 pm

Come on for goodness sake , America has been ruled by AIPAC for decades with decades of false flag peace talks , you look at what a government does not what It says â€Ļâ€Ļ.what America has done is aid and arm Zionist Israel and supported a genocide and we don’t have to look far to see who supports the outcome we now see in Gaza !
Trump has done what no other American leader has done to date , he has spoken the Truth, it’s vile talk , void of any moral compass. But it’s a plan of long standing since Trumps first term . Kushner had his plans for redevelopment of Palestine before Trump concluded his first term in office that’s a fact proven in interviews and not the one from just a year ago , you also ignore BBs infamous Map shown to the world in September 2023 showing his vision and desire for the Arab states , no Gaza or West Bank appeared on his plan . Then you have Biden a staunch Zionist his entire political career who fuelled the demolition of Gaza and the media played its usual part, its bias toward Israel and silence about the carnage taking place in Gaza !
You two never get to the point or indeed the facts staring us in the face â€Ļâ€Ļ.The truth about America is it is the American Zionist states of Israel 🇮🇱.

@morovis11 February 21, 2025 - 10:46 pm

I really enjoy and learn and valÃŗrate the UK point of view indeed. But you always skip or forget in your analysis to mention October 7.

@brian_o_hanrahanran February 21, 2025 - 10:46 pm

Once again, both of you Rory and Alasdair, are ignorant of a key fact: 90% of the people in Gaza have no connection — none, whatsoever — with Gaza.

Before 1967 Gaza was part of Egypt, and Israel has not occupied Gaza since 2005.

They're Arabs who are from Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan. Just pick up a history book pre-1900.
