If there had been no Hank Williams there would've been no Lonnie Donegan and there would've been no Beatles,,,,,,,,, the rest is history

@RogerSimpsonArtist February 15, 2025 - 10:29 pm

you don't need commentary ..we just want to watch and hear the beatles

@countalucard4226 February 15, 2025 - 10:29 pm

Name me a Taylor Swift song that would be good enough to be on a Beatles album. I would like to hear it if it’s out there.

Brilliant. Thank you for sharing …

These documentaries make me laugh. No one ever asked
Leslie Bryce for his thoughts, (beatles book photographer) from their 1st album up to Majical mystery tour. Taking still photos of them all @ home except Paul. Countless recording sessions, TV shows & concert venues throughout the UK & their 1st trip to USA.

And Peter did a Brilliant job. Throughly enjoyed it, so much better than Let It Be…

I watched this when it was released and was totally floored by just how relaxed and opened the guys were together ….yes there was a bit of friction now and then but they were family and what family doesn't fall out now and again, the other thing was the fact that everything I'd heard about Yoko interfering seems to be untrue …. She mostly seems to have just sat there enjoying the experience ss much ss anyone and only communicated with John when the band had a quiet spell ….. She and Linda also seemed to have a bit of a connection that surprised me

I love all things Beatles. What drives me crazy is when a whole bunch of little snipers are put together so that you just see little bits in fast succession. You can’t get a reasonable understanding of what they are saying or doing. Very frustrating.

I was 10 when the Beatles first played the Ed Sullivan show, and a huge fan to this day. In the late 70s a revival theatre was playing "Let it Be" and "Magical Mystery Tour" as a double feature, and I hadn't seen either. I sat through Let it Be, and found it dark and depressing, then finally walked out about a third of the way through Mystery Tour, which was a dreadful mess. Get Back is such a great gift to the world. It would be interesting to see if Jackson could likewise cobble together something watchable from the original MMT footage.

I was 14yo in 1962. How could my life not have been intertwined with The Beatles? Nothing, and no one has ever hit me over the head with anything of such genius and power, from all five of them. There is no doubt whatsoever that had it not been for George Martin that the world would have been a very different place. …and had it not been for Brian Epstein knowing George Martin, that too would have meant the same very different world. (I met Paul and John in the back of a chauffeur driven rolls Royce in Chiswick, London when they were filming 'HELP!')

It's not 'unseen footage'. I just saw it

@roberttalbot6397 February 15, 2025 - 10:29 pm

George does not sound like a Scouser there. His accent sounds. Lated back southern. Berkshire 😅

@malachy9400 February 15, 2025 - 10:29 pm

It's amazing to me reading all these comments and nobody mentioning that in all the footage there's no sign of Paul anywhere.

Speekal was a hobit who thought he was a loser
But he wanted to be lord of the rings
Then he saw that ring and he reached deep down in the water
Until it turned him into a Golem thing
Get back
Get back
Get back till you're
Lord of the rings

"More than 50 hours of outtakes" and NOT ONE MINUTE OF ACTUAL RECORDING…?🤨

@lesleymcshanemitchell9651 February 15, 2025 - 10:29 pm

Jackson is a Giant. Respect and admiration for his fim making.. The Beatles were a. One off. So glad I lived in there era

@optimusminimus-v3d February 15, 2025 - 10:29 pm

Perhaps the most disappointing things about the Beatles is the fact that they wrote so many great songs that it was impossible for us to see them perform them all.

@richardmckrell4899 February 15, 2025 - 10:29 pm

How bad Peter Jackson smells in person would be a great documentary.

@davidolson3946 February 15, 2025 - 10:29 pm

Great documentary!

@Jughead24 February 15, 2025 - 10:29 pm

Enjoyed the video. But…they always knew when they were being filmed.

@sheilahmercer1637 February 15, 2025 - 10:29 pm

💙🙏💙

@BiffMacnona February 15, 2025 - 10:29 pm

Peter Jackson reminds me of an old actor called Peter Ustinov…… in his look, his actions in the way he speaks…!

@PeterGonet February 15, 2025 - 10:29 pm

I was 12 years old when the album came out and I found it the most boring album I ever heard. 54 years later that opinion hasn't changed !

@mackmaloney3776 February 15, 2025 - 10:29 pm

Peter Jackson is vastly overrated.

@pip12111 February 15, 2025 - 10:29 pm

Yoko sitting there like a Yamamba

@robertsipes7391 February 15, 2025 - 10:29 pm

My question is, were the statements made in the JetNozzle commercial written by Donald Trump?

@UncompressedWAVmusic February 15, 2025 - 10:29 pm

Terrific, especially hearing that they were all 4 of them getting along with each other great when they thought the camera wasn't rolling. So great to hear. the Beatles all getting along well together.

@frankdemey6243 February 15, 2025 - 10:29 pm

Thanks a lot Sir Peter Jackson! ❤

@sixbladeknife44 February 15, 2025 - 10:29 pm

The bald guy is the eggman.

@jeffsframe9927 February 15, 2025 - 10:29 pm

Peter Jackson is dreaming if he doesn’t see this was indeed a band that knew they were on their last legs ….

@mikaelbiilmann6826 February 15, 2025 - 10:29 pm

I was trying to remember whom Peter Jackson reminded me of in this interview… then it came to me: Leo McKern! 😁

@aschule5684 February 15, 2025 - 10:29 pm

God I love these guys so much, they were such a huge and wonderful part of my life growing up.
They inspired me and gave me a depth of thought and emotion unlike anyone else musically. When they broke up it was like a very bright light went out and I believe that was my first introduction to serious greif. I kinda felt like everything good just went away,
Paul's music in Wings later had a very healing affect on me and then the work of the others but I know I'm not alone in saying for those of us who "got it" the Beatles were and will always remain very special indeed!
